Anyone planning on a May trip? I am hoping to go in early May. I am hoping the crowds will be low.

We are planning a May trip as soon as the kids get out of school. Went last May and the crowds were moderately heavy, but we were there in late May.

2 days ago my wife and I were lamenting the fact that it would be May before we got back to WDW. An hour later we had reservations at the Swan for this weekend. :rotfl:

We plan on taking the kids out of school for the last two weeks. They are young enough where it is mostly blow off time anyway.

apr 30 - may 6 for us! the crowds in early may are pretty slim!
WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!

I am figuring most school are still in session in early May, correct?

I know what you mean. My kids get out around Memorial Day. The last few weeks are usually spent doing reviews. The Teachers are good about giving the kids some things to work on. Keeps them occupied on the plane :)

Attempting to see if May will work for me. First need to see what the money situation is and if DBf and I can find people to go to bring the cost down a little. He has a timeshare, but gas will be a killer! Still keeping my fingers crossed though! ;)

We just booked May 25 - May 31. Know that the crowds will be high due to Memorial Day weekend, but this will be mostly a relaxation trip for us. Since we're AP holders, we'll probably just go to the parks in the evenings. We're staying at BCV and looking forward to long, sunny days in Stormalong Bay!

Wanted to go the week before for less crowds...But Can't take a chance of kids missing school for snow days this Winter.
She is out on the 22nd,but still worried. I can not pull her out of school again!
I just took her out 3 days for our cruise on the Disney Magic! :goodvibes

Don't think they would like it if I did it again.... :teeth:

We will manage..We have a plan!!! Mister fans and get to the parks early. Can't be as bad as mid June and July.... :wizard:

So if we wait till the 28th I know we will be in the clear..Rented DVC points and staying at the BWV!! Woo hoo! :wizard:

CBR this time. We haven't been there before but it sounds great! To be honest, I could be happy sleeping in my car...as long as it was on vacation near the mouse!
