Is there a FE group for this cruise yet? I would love to join. It's just me, DH, and DD (4) We are GTY so we don't have a room number yet but will let everyone know ASAP.

It appears there may be no Fish Extender group set up here on DISboards. There may be FE groups on other sites, but they are not DISboards connected, and links or search directions to those groups are not allowed.

Until someone here steps up and says "I'll maintain the FE list" there won't be a FE group here on DISboards.

Well I do know that on a very popular social media site the FE groups are closed. I've never organized one before but I could give it a try unless anyone else wants to step up. First let's see how many people are interested. So who's in?

Just booked this cruise today! It will be my girlfriend's first ever cruise and I am SUPER excited! Personally, this will be my 4th Disney Cruise!

I too have noticed that the FE's on the other popular page are closed already, and I'd LOVE to put together a small one for those of us who were not able to get "on board" with their groups (SEA what I did there?)!

I have participated a few times in the past, and would be more than willing to start a spreadsheet for those of us looking to do a group!

Let's say we give everyone until April 15 to choose if they would like to join and I'll start a running list! This is the information we would need from each person:

Names
Cabin Number (if GTY we can add them as we get them)
Age
Allergies
Favorite Characters
Celebrations (birthday/anniversary/first cruise/etc)

Hey PrincessShmoo! I've volunteered to maintain a list for the Disboards fro the May 2nd cruise so we can have an official one on here as well if you were interested in joining!

This will be our second Disney cruise and our first with a little one. On our first Disney cruise we got married at castaway cay so we are returning to the scene of the crime so to speak. It will be nice to actually relax this time around! Our group will be myself, my husband (Steven), our three year old daughter (Reagan), and my mother in law. We would definitely be interested in a fish extender group if one forms. I may even be able to coordinate if needed.

So glad you'll be on our cruise as well! Right now, we have five confirmed staterooms participating with a total of 15 people.

The fish extender is super fun and some of the best gifts I've ever received were some of the smallest ones! Everything from a sandwich sized ziplock bag filled with cruise essentials such as band aids and tiny tubes to sunscreen to a state or country specific gift such as a mini bottle of maple syrup and a printable list of facts about Vermont! The possibilities are endless and you can choose to do a gift for each person in the stateroom or a group gift for the entire stateroom!

Feel free to let me know if you would like to join in on the fun, I'm sure you won't regret it!

If you go to page 4, post number #75 of this thread, PrincessShmoo posted a great article all about the fish extenders. We did it for the first time last year and it was so much fun.
