TIP OF THE DAY - THE SAILAWAY PARTY​

"If you want to be up close for the Sailaway party head to the Goofy pool on deck 9. A dance floor covers the pool and you will be right in the action. Want to watch instead of dance? Then head up to deck 10 for the party. As we start to pull away check outside of the terminal. There will be some CM's with a nice little goodbye for you."

YET ANOTHER TIP​

Even if you have an inside cabin you can have a view from the bridge! Your TV has 3 channels dedicated to the cruise itself. These channels give you a wide variety of information. One shows a camera facing forward just as if you were looking off the bridge. Another will show time, temperature, distance traveled etc. A third will show information you need to know, repeats of the shopping talks, and repeats of the disembarkation talk.

7 WEEKS!!!! It is hard to believe that is coming up so quickly, I have been getting very excited!!!! (not hard to do)

We actually leave in 6 weeks and 3 days...WOOHOO!!

Hey all, this thread is really starting to hop! Speaking as one of its earlier members, it's great to see it begin to take off as it all starts to get real!

Speaking of real, my DD finally had her bat mitzvah this last weekend. Hurray and a big sigh of relief! For folks who are new to the thread: celebrating the bat mitzvah is the reason we're going on the cruise, together with Spencer4hire. It's DD's big bat mitzvah present, the only one she asked for - more than 3 years ago.

Anyway, I'm so glad it's over! As her godmother, Spencer was able to fly up to Calgary to join us, and even though I really thought it was all going to flop, it came off all right. DD really did a beautiful job. I was such a proud mom.

And the best thing of all is, it's over now! And all that stands in the way is taxes and my finals - I'm feeling the downhill slide.

Oh, CrazyBoutDisney-Kirk or Piccard?!?

I'm going with Janeway, myself.

Pink Elephants-Congrats to you and your daughter regarding her bat mitzvah! That is such a BIG event, and how wonderful you can now relax and enjoy the cruise (at least you have a little time to recover and let the excitement begin!).

Woohoo!!! There are a few of us from this thread going on this excursion. We have ot booked also and hear it is great!!!

Only 46 days!! Yikes and Yea!!
I just ran off about a gazillion papers for my Disney online forms (and now I think I only needed a few!) and tried one more time for a Palos ressie (no luck, but I'm trusting you seasoned vets that we may have a little chance to get one once we embark! If not, then it will give us something to look forward to next time!
Does anyone have any advice regarding Key West? I didn't book an excursion because I think it might be nice to just stroll around and maybe go to the beach, although it seems as if beaches aren't really all that available according to some websites. Have any of you had a chance to experience Key West much? Thanks for any input/suggestions you might have!
