I'm going May 1-8 
. I'm going with a friend. Staying off-site w/ rental car (still debating to use the shuttle to parks from hotel or cough up $15 for parking a day).
Due to the planned dedication ceremony of Seven Dwarfs Mine ride on 5/2, my gut feeling says to avoid MK that day as it will probably be crowded. Therefore, I have changed going to MK that day and opted for HS.
We have 5 day MYW tickets. Using the crowd calendar on easywdw I came up with this plan of attack:
Thursday, May 1: Travel Day. Arrive in Tampa @ 8:30pm. Drive to Orlando. Check-in @ off-site hotel in Kissimmee.
Friday, May 2: HS
Saturday, May 3: EP
Sunday, May 4: AK
Monday, May 5: Whichever park. MK or perhaps EP again
Tuesday, May 6: MK
Wednesday, May 7: Non-DW day. Going to Coco Beach.
Thursday, May 8: Travel day. Fly back home.
What do you think of my itinerary, taking in account of the crowd calendar used?
We plan on getting there before the parks open until the parks are closed.
Been to DW 4 times. My friend has been once to all 4 parks (twice to MK). We haven't been back since 2009. Alot has changed since then...
