What's going on May 1st & 2nd? I noticed on the DL AP web-site these two nights have very limited availability.

I would be interested in knowing too as we are considering doing a quick trip that weekend. I know Food and Wine Festival is going on but not sure what else...?\
There is a DECA convention at the convention center and it looks to be big.......

It looks like there's a 14,000-studuent DECA conference that weekend at the convention center.

Me too, and I am definitely rethinking it. I am now looking at later in May.......most kids won't be out of school yet!

Just remember at the end of the month you have memorial day which brings in larger crowds, and there is a Grad night on May 21st so the park will be closing a bit earlier.

It's also Bats Day that weekend. I don't think it will affect the crowds that much though.

Yeah I was gonna say Bats Day is that weekend, but didn't realize there was a convention too. We switched our plans to earlier the week before, in hopes to avoid the crowds.
