It seems to me that I maybe have booked backwards as we are cruising first and then going to the park. My thought was walk off all the calories from the cruise. I hear a lot of food on those cruises...Then again this is my first cruise. Who wishes it was at least April now....

We come to USA Fl April 23rd it will be nearlyn4 years since our last visit and there gave been a lot of changes . I really need to research these magic bands as I have no idea what they are about and how you use them

Yep you will never go hungry on the cruise.

I plan on walking a lot to try and off set some of the damage . Our cabin is on deck 2 so will use stairs a lot.

I love the Disney dream ( our last cruise back in 2011 was a 5 night double dip on it) but I was disappointed with the adult pool - I love to swim and you can't on the Dream .

However the ship is amazing !

We finally made our reservations. It will be myself, my husband, daughter, son in law, 2 grandchildren and son in laws niece. We are doing Universal for 3 days before and Poly (no park passes just Downtown Disney) for 1 night after. We booked 2 rooms, 8612 and 8614. This is our first cruise and everyone is so excited. What is the fish extenders thing you guys are talking about?

I don't mind helping to organise this.

On my past cruisers we have themed our gifts - one of the most popular was something from your home town - I remember receiving some playing cards from a friend in Atlanta and some huckleberry jelly ( can't remember the state ) but it was delicious . Would you like to do something like that for this cruise?
We will need a list of who would like to participate and also how many gifts would be needed for each family -

We can expect average air temperatures from 71 to 82 and water temperature of 78. There is less humidity, cloud cover and rain in the early part of the month than later in the month. I found this info here

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. If no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, perhaps someone can start that right in this thread.

We usually don't get off the boat in Nassau, but was thinking about doing the day pass at the Hilton British Colonial Resort. Has anyone here ever been there for the day? Its $60 a person and includes a $40 food/drink credit.

We are so excited for this Cruise!!! Our first Disney Cruise and our kids first cruise! We are surprising the kids on this trip too.....We will be going to WDW after the cruise which they know about, but will drive up to the ship and surprise them with a DISNEY CRUISE!!!! We are trying to not spoil it!!!
