May 19th 2011, Three Day Dream Cruise

Our cabin
2 adults.... both female... me & my mom aka Gran :)
1 child DD age 6

Our friends cabin
2 adults also both female - mom and daughter

Thanks! Your friend's cabin was one I was unsure of. The guys (turn your head, boys) are easy, so I'll probably make extra. But the girls' gifts are a little time consuming, but fun!

Alos, I wanted to let you (and everyone) know about my cabin change here, too. I PMed everyone, but Linda suggested I might tell ya'll here, too. Our cabin is 6558, NOT 6658! Don't get lost, because I know there are only 2 of us on the 6th deck :)

We will be the ones with wayyyyy too many magnets on our door. It's just too hard to stop. They are all so cool!

Hi all, just booked the Sea Lion encounter wth DD12 for the afternoon. Anyone else going? Any news on the meet and greet? We should wear something to recognize the Disers, lime green mickeys? :D

Are you doing the Blue Lagoon? We will be there for the Dolphin encounter! I am all for a Meet and Greet! What time would be good for everyone? Someone had mentioned 3:00 on Thursday, and that looks like a good time, because It is not in the way of dinner or shows or the lifeboat drill. But then again, I am a 1st time cruiser, so I'm not sure. I am planning on having my lime green Mickey with me...now if only I remember to carry my purse :)

We are on this cruise too! I am excited and overwhelmed too, just thinking about everything I WANT to do, and it's so short of a time! Reminds me a lot of our trip to WDW a few years ago.

DH and I don't drink alcohol, so that will help in saving us some money. :rotfl:

I saw where someone mentioned dining situations? So do they put other people with you? Can you choose (not that we know anyone else!)? Obviously our first cruise, we have two girls ages 10 and 12 going and are WAY excited!

We aren't doing any Nassau excursions, the travel down to FL is costing more than we thought, but we will get off the boat "to step our little toe" into the Bahamas - as my littlest one would say. :cloud9:

You can link reservations (don't ask me how, I have no clue!!) We have two daughters with us also, 11 and 14. BUT...... we have late seating!!

Don't drink??? Boy would you have hated my FE gift if you were doing it!!

yes, Blue lagoon: 12:45 boat to BL and then the 4:45 back to the ship. going to leave the rest of the family on the ship :) I think I will wear my LGM with my board name on my belt, so everyone can say hi. :)

I showed y'all what we will be wearing!!! Pirate Mickey Ears on our shirts with our names on them!! LOOK FOR US!!! We will be the lost ones!!!

We are almost done with ALL of our FE's!!! (B2B) I can't wait to deliver them!! I just hope that they fit in the FE pockets!!

Little Ray (DS) - 7
Erick (DS) - 6
Madeline (grandma) - 65??
...no known food allergies.

I've been looking at YouTube videos of peoples vacation trips on the dream...great 'inside look'. Although my favorite video is 'Disney dream surprise'...check it out! It's not set on the ship, but just really cute!!! I sure wish my family would have reacted that way

Just wanted to share, I got my cruise docs yesterday including the luggage tags. All the way down here in Sydney Australia!!:banana::dance3::dance3::woohoo::woohoo:

The cruise docs have arrived in my little corner of England today :woohoo:

They came yesterday and DH has had a peak but I am actually saving the pleasure until I get home from work today ............... what a great way to start the weekend

Yay for cruise docs!! When I was speaking to our TA from DU she said DCL starts sending out cruise docs about 45 days prior to sailing. :)

Made my day too!! It's never to early to start packing ;) We leave for the US in 15 days though so I am starting to think about packing!
