May 19th 2011, Three Day Dream Cruise

We are now in cabin 5678, category 8d. I just had to get off deck 2.

Well, today I was playing with the website and a 11c GTY came open. It is 270 bucks less, so I put it on hold. Ugghh. I don't know which cabin I will keep. I am nutso!!! But 270 bucks is a lot of money to me.

What is everyone doing to get ready for this cruise, other then playing the "waiting game"?

I have been working on my FE's, but it is kinda hard when I don't have numbers!!!

I have also been working on a ton of magnets for our door.

I haven't told my kids yet, TRYING to wait for Christmas but it is SOOOOO hard!!!

I can't wait until all of the info comes back from the Dreams Maiden Voyage!!

Let me know what y'all are doing to stay sane!!!

I've been just reading and planning as much as I can. Mostly researching. I also can't wait for Dream trip reports!!

Well I decided to keep my 8d room on deck 5.

Well I watched a doco on Disney Cruise Line with the other half and that got him excited HE then asks, do we have a room with a balcony? I was like umm no. He said well get one then!

So we are now Cat 4C on deck 7!

We have switched cabins to be closer to the kids clubs. We are now in Cabin 5532 on deck 5!!

Hello from England everyone

Just got back from a fantastic two week vacation driving around Nevada, Utah and Arizona so now it is all systems go for planning our May 2011 trip

DH is going to make our Fish Extender as I am not that creative but I can't wait to plan the FE gifts and door magnets

Any info from previous cruisers on FE gifts and door magnets would be great

We are excited to join you all on the May 19th sailing! It will be my family of 4 and my sister's family of 4. I did not know about the POTC 4 until reading this thread so I am excited about that! We have a cat. 8B stateroom on deck 9. This is the first time we have ever picked our rooms so that has been different and slightly frustrating. (this is our 5th Disney cruise)

I'm a planner and finding it hard not knowing any Dream details until later. Once we get to January it will be so exciting to hear details!!!!

We are booked on this cruise and we are super excited. This is our third cruise but our first Disney cruise and our first big vacation with our 2yo DD. We are staying at the Residence Inn the night before and one night at WDW after the cruise. Anyone else doing that?

This will actually be the second leg of our back 2 back cruise on the Dream. We are staying at WDW 2 nights before the cruise so we will go directly to the airport after disembarkment!

We have a room change!!! We have now gone to a Cat 5C. So we are NOW in room 7530!!!
