My wife and I just returned from another wonderful WDW trip.
We were in FLA for a business meeting and desided to shoot up to WDW for a few days.
We arrived at CSR in the early evening of the 18th. We checked in and dropped our bags off at the room. While I found the CSR to be nice and served it's purpose well I didn't get that Disney magic "vibe" here. We loved the food and food the Bus service to be fine but I wouldn't come back.
We went to the House of Blues in Downtown Disney for dinner after wondering around the shops for about an hour. We had a very nice time soaking up the Disney atmosphere and thinking about the parks.
We woke up early on Monday and headed out to MGM, we rushed to RRC but the coaster was broken so we got a all day FP. Next we rode TOT which seems to have changed it's dropping points from the last time I was there 5 years ago. Since we don't have any children yet and are only 26 and 28 we were able to quickly move around the park and hit various rides. We stopped back at the RRC again but it broke AGAIN right before we got on. I think some people were stuck on the ride. We finished a few more rides and then finally got on the coaster. It was AWESOME!!!! Since nobody knew it was back open we got to ride it a couple times with little wait. I think RRC is bar none the BEST ride in WDW.
At about 3:30 we headed out to Epcot. We toured the world and had a very nice dinner at Le Cellier (cheese soup and filet of course). There was a spectacular lighting storm on at the same time as the fireworks. We headed home at about 9:30 which was just over 12 hours of fun.
On tue we went to the MK and hit all our favorite rides. Lines were short in all the parks with 5-15 minutes being the average wait and I think 30 was the longest. Lines were so short the only fast passes we got were for rides that broke down.
All in all we had an awesome time and May is a great time to visit for short lines. Next time we go we will probably have little ones and need to schedule a lot more time to see the parks but with 2 adults and short lines you can really see alot in a short period of time.
