Hi Gang!
I hope you all enjoyed the cruise; we sure did! However, Brent and I are both still rocking. Sometimes we even lose our balance the way we did on the ship sometimes. Are any of you experiencing this? We've been off the ship for 3 days! Is this normal?

Hi Bonnie!

Yes, we're still rocking as well. It can take up to a week before you are back to normal. Sorry we didn't get to meet. I did go the Art of Entertaining courses. I was the one who won the Mai Tai at the Napkin Folding and Mixology session for answering the question: How many pools are on the Disney Magic? :)

Lisa :sunny:

Hey ya'll!! I experienced a little rocking through Monday, but I seem to be fine now. I was in the Art of Entertaining with you, Lisa. My husband and I really enjoyed that series. Joselito (the chef) gave me one of the chocolate Mickey sculptures after the contest for plate designing. He said that I have beautiful eyes and deserved to win a prize. Wasn't that sweet! I don't know about ya'll, but no one in my family was ready to leave.

Lisa: I remember someone getting the Mai Tai, but I have to say that I wasn't really paying attention. Were you in the center section? That's where we always sat. We were probably sitting right next to each other and didn't even realize it. Did you get to do the Tea? They were all booked up for tea when we tried to make our ressies.

Lori: I'm so jealous you got the chocolate Mickey! I really wanted one. What are you going to do with it? Make one of those crazy cakes he showed us how to make? :)

We weren't ready to leave either, but we did miss our kids. We have a family cruise booked for May 10th of next year on the Western Magic. Yippee!

I felt like I was in the ship until Monday morning! even after a 9 hours flight back home I was feeling 'The Magic' :)

Does anybody notice the up and down movement on Thursday night?
Our stateroom was on deck 7 forward and it was easy to imagine the ship cutting the waves.

Specially after Lobster and Chocolate Lava Cake!! :P

Thursday night was horrible for us!! There was a crew party below our room which woke me at 12:30. Along with the pretty violent rocking my husband and I had a very restless night. Didn't bother the kids though. They never heard a thing. The bad thing is that on our 11/01 Wonder cruise my mom was in the same stateroom and there was a party one night that kept her awake. We were originally booked in an adjoining room but the family in the other room needed the two rooms together so we swapped with them. They never heard the party noise.

I was also on the 5/18 Magic and I am still rocking! It is not as severe today, I'm hoping it is almost over.

Bbgrizzle, we were at the late seating, LAPLAPL, table 37.

I can't wait to book another one!

We were also at the LAP late seating table 62. We loved the rocking feel and always slept great (except when our neighbors were loud...very thin walls). We went to Universal and Islands of Adventure for 3 days after the cruise, but while we were driving there, it did feel as if we were still rocking on the ship.

Jennyfyar and tlt: We were at table 70. Who were your servers? Ours were Jeevan (India) and Rowan (Jamaica). We loved them. Don't you miss all the wonderful service we received on the ship? Now it's back to reality, where I scrape up my own crumbs and put my own napkin in my lap :)

Oh, I LOVED the rocking on the ship. I have never slept so well as I did on the cruise. How come I didn't notice the rough seas on Thursday? I must have been so content after seeing Disney Dreams and eating that yummy chocolate lava cake. . .

My rocking is pretty much gone now. Good to know I'm not alone.

We definitely felt the boat rocking on Thursday night. My brother thought it was because of the way the wind was hitting the ship. Thankfully it was only bad that one night.

I'm am relieved after reading these new posts. My dad still felt like he was on the ship Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I was too busy yesterday to call and check so I don't know if it is better yet or not. The strange thing is he said it only bothered him when he was inside the house. Why would it not bother him outside? The rest of us did not have a problem.

We took some videos of the cruise and my dad is inexperienced with the camera so some of it was very choppy and moving from side to side. My poor sister who did not go on the cruise got sick from trying to watch our trip video. I gave her a Dramamine. She also gets sick riding in the back seat of a car. We were hoping to take her on a cruise in the future but I have serious doubts after the video experience that she could handle one.

We were on that cruise also. I'm surprised no one in our family got sick. I did get bad headaches though. The ship was rocking bad on Thursday night, it rocked our DD5 right out of the bed.

Lisa, I was right behind you when you won that drink. I got called on for the Baham Mama drink but someone else yelled out the answer. Oh well...

Our server was Gabriela (Argentina). We just fell in love with her. She was the greatest. I want to get into contact with her and send her some pictures. I guess I will try calling DCL.

Anyway...we had such a great time we booked the Western cruise for May 24, 2002.:bounce:
