Very cool shirts! I'm so jealous! I want to go!!! You designed the material? I nominate Val to be our shirt creator. I want a creative shirt like that. Looks like she's a pro to me . Everyone is going to be anxiously awaiting for their mail.

Thanks, I think they came out pretty nice, but no, I didn't sew them. I designed them and then found a company that made the fabric and sewed the shirts. Because of the volume they didn't cost that much, $25 plus postage. The DCL tee-shirts for the cruise are $35 so I think we did pretty good. They even have labels in them at say, "Exclusive Disboard Design for 2012 Inaugural Hawaii Cruise".

You did a fabulous job!

Thanks for your nice comments on the shirts. It is a little early to be planning them for our trip but it is something we can certainly explore later in the year. I'll think about possible designs to consider.

I haven't been on this thread much lately but welcome to all of you who have recently joined the group. I have been busy packaging and mailing out 153 shirts for our Hawaii cruise. It was a lot more effort then I had anticipated but I think it will be worth it when we all meet on the Wonder in our special shirts and lanyards.

How cool is that! I know alot of the folks going on the Hawaii cruise as I cruised with then on the PC in 2008. We were the thieves!

Sorry, I haven't been on in a while.

The shirts look great.

I was trying to wait to tell my wife and daughter at Christmas about the trip but I couldn't keep it a secret any longer.

I agree with alot of the people that are saying if you are in Europe you should spend some extra time

When we arrive in Barcelona we are going to spend a couple of days there, checking out the sights. I was able to find a cheap flight to Dubrovnik, Croatia which is actually a stop on the DCL Med cruises. We will spend a few days there (it is supposed to be one of the most beautiful places on the Adriatic). I was then able to find a reasonable flight on Aer Lingus from Dublin.

I talked to my daughter's principal and she felt that next year would be the best year (grade 7) for her to miss 3+ weeks of school.

We have done the WBTA but not the EBTA, we too were hoping to do the WBTA, with a B2B on the med before. When they didn't post a WB and we read the ship most likely would be in dry dock before coming home, we decided to book the EBTA.

We loved by Gilbralter and Madeira.

Hope to get to know you before this wonderful adventure.

Sandi here from Denver. We went EBTA May 2011. I loved all the days at sea and the ports. We're settling for a 7 days that leaves this SUNDAY to Mexico. Nothing beats the 14 days!

Now for the bad news. I think it turns out to be 6 days in a row that you set the clocks forward......I realize that's nothing compared to a flight...it's just really challenging to keep getting up earlier and earlier.......we were literally missing 1/2 a day because we were sleeping in so much to sit get our beauty rest!!

I don't mind losing an hour a day on sea days. I do mind losing that hour when traveling within Europe and going to ports.

Earlier we tried to see about 1 way car rentals from Houston to Galveston's port, and were surprised there are no car rental agencies that allowed them.
If that stays the case, will most of you stay in Houston, and take the Disney Shuttle to the port, or what? We were hoping to stay in Galveston the night before the cruise.

It still shows as available if you are booking yourself online. If you call and they tell you it isn't available tell them that you can book it yourself online and ask to have them check again.
