We will be in Barcelona 4 days post cruise. We plan to spend 3 days seeing Barcelona, and the last day going to Montserrat on our own. We considered a day tour to Girona and Figueras, but decided there was more than enough for 3 full days in Barcelona.

I booked the Gaudi walking tour with Runnerbean for our 3rd day. as it was highly recommended on Trip Advisor as well as by Rick Steves. However, after doing a half-day city tour with Barcelona Day Tours, plus the HOHO commentary and stops at Gaudi sites - I think the Gaudi walking tour will be redundant. I'll probably cancel it.

After your half-day tour of Barcelona and the HOHO bus, you will be quite familiar with the Gaudi sites.

I recommend skipping the additional Gaudi walking tour, and instead touring the inside of one or both Casa Milà and Casa Batllo. When we visited them, Casa Milà had audio wands, and Casa Batllo had live guides. Make sure you get tours in english.

Just have to share --- I just returned from monthly Bunco tonight in our neighborhood. Laughed so hard, I am just thankful I didn't pee my pants! Looking forward to meeting all of you, throwing some dice, and getting to mingle!!

I checked, TwoPeasInOnePod, and we DO NOT have any 5A or any ocean view porthole cabins yet--- we would love to include yours! :cool1:LMK what DH says.... it helps tremendously to see cabins if one might think of booking another Disney cruise sometime... THanks!

Okay, I convinced him to do it! We are in.

Thanks for the advice, Woody. Had we planned to do the Gaudi walking tour earlier in our stay, it would've been more useful.

I am at WDW now, but I'll book our timed tickets for La Sagrada Familia when I return home.

You should be able to make it no problem! :thumbsup2 Only possible umph might be Houston rush hour traffic so just breeze through customs/immigration and hit the road! :)

Great, thanks Mandy. :goodvibes

Just got a call from the Shoreside Concierge team. Both of our requested Palo Private Room Brunch dates have been confirmed! :cheer2: Both Brunches will be at 10:00 am.
