Side note, lanyards are available almost everywere. We spent $3 each at Spencers in the mall, and had Smurfs, Scooby, Wonder Woman, Pac-Man and Fraggles.

I don't think I would wear a lanyard around my neck, it gets too hot and confining for me. I have them for pin trading and end up hanging them from the stroller.

So from the sound of everything so far, lanyards are out, but we need to come up with a magnet graphic or two or three for our cruise.

I like the magnets! How do you do it? Does someone design it and then everyone prints one up? Im not sure how or where to print them?

Someone makes a graphic, and allows it to be downloaded. We each print them off, either on magnetic paper (expensive, and often un reliable "stick") or on cardstock (I laminate. Machine is $20-30 at walmart, we use it for everything) and use the magnet rolls from walmart ($3, and I still have some left, after making over 60 magnets) and a small dab of hot glue to ensure the magnet is truly stuck to the back of the image

DCL gives lanyards for first cruises or at least they did. We have 4 lanyards and did 4 cruises...if not then lanyards may be good idea for the first time cruisers...personally we don't wear them...

We didn't get them on our first, but I knew what to expect, so I went to Spencers before we left home.

I print mine out and then apply it to a business card magnet blank I get from the office depot or the staples store. I find these work best for me. Now all we need to do it make a graphic; any graphic wizzards out there?

Oh! I had a question (I can't PM because I haven't posted enough, sorry!) I'm interested in participating in the fish exchange, but we haven't booked our room yet! We are definitely going, just won't be booking until December-ish. Should I wait until we actually have a room to join the fun?

I can add you on the unconfirmed list, but you would then be counted in the original group, or you could wait until you book, and join in whatever group is still open! It looks like we are cutting off the first group at 20 staterooms, and we are hovering between 16-18 right now.... Just let me know!
