I have decided to join you guys in all the FE fun! I guess I better get busy and start shopping

I've assembled quite a little package for every room, but I've done it in "spurts." When I go somewhere, I pick up a few dollars worth of stuff. It has added up to more than I planned, but I've spaced it out so that I didn't miss the $$!

I was just reading the summaries on page 1 and saw that you are doing the Island Tour & Stingray City tour in Grand Cayman. So are we !! Which time are you doing? We are doing the first one (9:15 a.m., I think). Hope we're on the same one !!

We haven't quite officially booked it yet, but looks like I'll book the 9:15 AM one I've done it twice and LOVE IT!!! Also we are planning on getting one of the guys to film us with the Stingrays...so we can be picture/film buddies! (always helps so that you aren't seperated in pics)

John and I are going out this weekend and we plan on doing some cruise shopping. I will be able to pick up some things then. He needs a new black suit so I get to torture him and make him try on clothes. He hates going clothes shopping so I promised to take him to the Cheesecake Factory and get him a slice of strawberry cheese cake whenever we're finished. Yes, I do believe in bribery.

So here's my dog story. He was a stray that we took care of for 5 days in November. When we finally found his owner, she told us she was moving to Texas in Feb and wondered if we could give him a good home when she moved. We said we'd think about it (our Dalmation had died 4 years before, so getting another dog was inevitable--I had just been putting it off), but a week later, she came back asking if we would take him right away.


When you buy a bottle in the duty-free shop onboard, they do keep it until Friday night, and even then, you're not supposed to open it. You're only allowed (I think) 1 bottle per "of age" person in your cabin. We came home with 2 bottles of Stoli vodka.

He's precious!!! I really like the Stoli Vanilla with orange pop, just like a dreamsicle.

We did this excursion on our last western ~ 5 years ago and it was the highlight of our trip, for sure. I would love to be "picture buddies" ! Morning Loucinda! Thanks for the tip on Hobby Lobby. Here in Austin they have coupons for 40% off in the Life&Style section of the paper every Sunday. That should make it super cheap!

I am cancelling our couples villa too. Even if Yoni does get this job (and he will! ) we decided it just doesn't make sense. I am going to look closely for the bargains on port days and even may get a beach massage in Coz at Nachi Cocum -- it is only $60!

That's an awesome price for a massage in Coz! I would go for that one too. Sometimes DCL can be pretty pricey. And the sound of a beach massage in Coz sounds perfect, and for $60, that makes it even better!!!

Val that is on my today list. Jalen cub scout troop has thrown a wrench in my cruise planning by having a camp out at this end of this month (which for me means more planning) and then t-ball season is just starting. So munch planning so little time.

Mati tell Sabrina, Jalen will write her back tomorrow. He has been doing alot lately (see above and that does not include nine weeks tests for school and violin).

Not a problem at all. Since we have a lot of people that haven't gotten their cabin numbers yet (probably not till 30 days out) I haven't been sweating it. Come two weeks prior and I'll be hounding everyone for cabin numbers.

I see that Jalen is in Cub Scouts, both my boys were in it and I really miss those days. I was a Den Leader for Steven and then was Pack Committee Chair for 5 years. Is he a Wolf or Bear? My one piece of advice would be to take pictures of everything (den meetings, Pack meetings, outings, etc) when we did the boys Eagle ceremonies I put together a slideshow with pictures from Cub Scouts all the way through (yup made people cry). Even the boys loved seeing the old pictures.

Sorry missed a quote: "Tink, Um Tink what is your real name?" I know I'm intimately involved with the FE list, but I saved it to my desktop and keep it open whenever I'm online so I can easily check to see if someones real name is already listed. I'm trying to keep track so it's getting easier to remember board names and real names. BTW Tink113 is Amanda.

Hi Belinda! Thanks for asking. He is doing well -- he has been busy working in the yard. It started raining yesterday so have him doing stuff around the house. No word on that other job. I think I have decided that it won't happen and am trying to mentally adjust to being on a tight budget. It is all good -- just a big mental shift but nothing that millions of others haven't had to do. Now if I can only find CHEAP WDW tickets!

Ok, so it is pouring here which means the traffic will be a nightmare so working from home instead of going in BUT, I need to focus so hopefully I can get major WORK done!!!!

I do have one question for all you WDW fans -- how much should I budget for the 4 of us to eat on non-cruise days? I was thinking $100 -- is that way too little?

Off to take the kiddos to school. I really wish I had my coffee . I have to wait 1 hour after taking my synthroid before I can have it *sigh* and this morning, with the weather, I really need it!

So what did you think? Was it the right 2? I think I was ok with the outcome... The twist is interesting. I wonder if they will ever use it this season.

I'm okay with Jorge, but I was hoping Megan would've gone instead of Jasmine. I think she had potential if she had gone further along. Oh well. The twist is interesting. I know I was NOT HAPPY those nights when Tamyra and Chris went home WAY too early. I had both of them picked to win from the beginning of those seasons.

Justin & I had to listen again to the twist because we misunderstood it. We thought each person got an extra chance once throughout the season...not just ONE per season.

BTW -- has anyone heard from Andy? Andy.....are you still out there???? We are missing you...

I've been wondering the same thing!! Haven't seen him here in at least a week or more...
