AAAAAA -- How I am supposed to work when all this fun stuff is going on on the boards!!!!

I am on facebook -- Mati Gaona Pitkanen. I tried adding a few of you but a couple of you have way too many choices to pick from!!!

Ok -- bikes, my husband rides one -- it is a "rocket" type of bike. He rides purely for the acceleration. He is a safe rider but I freak out everytime he goes out. Needless to say, I won't get on. I think I would be more comfortable on a Harley and may be willing to do that but his bike -- no way jose!

Reality TV is my ADDICTION! I missed AI tonight (work dinner) but have it taped at home. I watch them ALL -- Survivor, Amazing Race, Bachelor, American Idol, Next Top Model, etc, etc, etc. Our DVR is always recording and I am soooooo far behind BUT, I don't want to give them up!!!

Oh and 2_Eagle_Mom -- we own the entire series of Star Trek TNG.

Anybody a Buffy fan? I got that series for Christmas and am slowly working my way into that (like i need more tv!)

Ok, so if i missed anyone on FB, please add me but tell me where I know you from. There are a ton of phishers out there who request to be your friend only to find out your personal info and fool your friends into getting their info.

Now that I'm done with Idol, I'm watching Monday's Jon & Kate. I'm addicted to that, too! Seeing the kids painting reminds me of Lennon helping us paint a couple years ago. Too cute!!

I don't really like it as much either because this is your only chance, and if you don't do outstanding, you're done! In the past when they just got rid of the botton 2 or so, it was easier to stay in it if you are good but have an "off" week. Even if Anoop or Danny (and maybe even Tatiana now) don't get voted in tomorrow, they'll probably go through as a wild card. I don't like how they have to keep it even with # of guys & gals. So there has to be at least one girl go through, even though I thought the top 3 singers were guys.

Ok, so I opened a FB account and now I'm feeling totally overwhelmed. How am I supposed to keep up with BOTH the Dis and FB???

The only good thing is I've been on the computer and away from cruising the kitchen for snacks.

I'm bummed though Jim has been watching the sharks game (right now they are up by 2 goals). But I haven't been able to watch any of AI! Of course I've recorded it, but I wanted to watch it before going to work tomorrow so I could chat with eveyone about it. It's good to know that there are SO many reality show fans on this cruise. We were planning on bringing on one computer but we weren't planning on going online on the cruise. Is it possible to download the show after it's been on? I've never done that but maybe we could find some wireless connecitvity in one of the ports and download the show. Then we could have a mini-meet and all huddle around the computer. Yeah, well it's an idea.

BellaMickey - I hope you finally got the FE list. I'm not quite sure why you've had so much trouble opening the spreadsheet. Has anyone else had any trouble opening the spreadsheet?

I'm hoping to be at the dock at around 10 - 10:30am. Haven't really talked to Jim about it, but I'm sure he'll be fine with it. We'll have a rental car and he will drop me off at the dock and then return the car. Does anyone know if you both have to be present to check-in?

Goodness this thread was busy last night!! Luckily I am at work so have time to catch up !!!!! I cant go through and quote though as computer is slow, so this is all off the top of my head . . .

Harry Potter – I read a book called “Mr Norrell and Jonathan Strange” which was very good. Can’t remember the author, but sure it will appear on Amazon. It was more an adult magic book – quite long but I really got lost in it. Apart from that I love crime / murders (like Michael Connelly) but I try take something a bit more easy going on vacation !!!!

We are up for a meet at 3pm in the promenade lounge on the first day – is that when we will get the final list of fish extender peeps?

We won’t be able to meet at the Radisson – we will be at Port Orleans Riverside for two weeks before the cruise, and are going to travel up nice and early on the Saturday! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

Facebook – I would love to be y’all’s (is that how you spell it?! ) friends! I am Sonya Elizabeth Garland . . . plenty of Disney pictures on there including my Disney wedding! I just can’t wait to get some cruise ones on there as well! Just put a note on saying you are from the Dis!

I am officially ready for vacation – my new crocs arrived yesterday!!!!! They are so pink and pretty!!! Mock all you like but they feel like heaven after a long day!!!!!!!!

To end with questions . . . So, when they open up the remaining booking slots on the 2nd March for the non-repeat cruisers, will they release more times for Palo? I am still hoping to book a brunch! Or is booking on board my only chance now? Do you think if we leave POR at 8.30am that will give us enough time to get to the Magic for 10am? Thanks

I may also do some photography as well. I have photographed 2 weddings, one proposal, and one engagement session. I have bridals & another engagement session coming up. Most of these are for friends. The weddings were my cousin & one of my bridesmaids. (She had a pro photographer, but only for a couple hours). I was super excited she and her hubby told me they liked my photos the best. I think i took about 600 over the course of the day. I like capturing special moments people often forget about (like getting your makeup done) not just the wedding.

As you have seen from my previous post my son does some photography as a hobby. He has done a few weddings and engagements.
He uses Zenfolio http://www.zenfolio.com/
You can put all of your photos on their site and then sell photos to anyone. It is very good for weddings, receptions, baby showers, whatever, since anyone can go and order prints. YOU set the price, so you can make as much money as you like. You can also password protect the folders, for example so that only the bride and groom can see the photos. My son has done some photos for his friends and then set the price of the photos "at cost" so he does not make any money. It is a very good system and gets keyword searched by Google.

wow, holy cow! I logged off at about 10:30pm est & I get to my computer this morning and have two more pages to read. You guys are busy!!!!

3pm for our 1st meet sounds great!!! We "plan" the get there as early as possible. We will most likely leave VA on Thursday night & drive to FL. Friday we should arrive at our house in Winter Park (15 mins from Orlando). Sat morning, we will all pile back into the cars and head to port!!! Sorry, we'll miss everyone at the hotel.
