Like the heading says, if anyone on our cruise with a cat 12 cancels, PLEASE pm me. I am desperately trying to get my sister and her family a cat 12 as well as my BIL and his family. In fact, I am kicking myself big time for not booking our cat 12 with 4 adults instead of 3. I would really like for DS (19) to bring his friend along, but my DU agent keeps checking and she cannot add another person to our steal-of-a-deal cat 12 reservation (3 adults with transfers for $2113 :) )!! Does anyone have any suggestions? I really don't want to pay the big increase and bump up to a cat 11. When it comes to a Disney vacation, I really think that the more the merrier is very true. Thanks to anyone who can help :)!!

I read somewhere recently that even canceled cat 12's are no longer being given out. Apparently, Disney over-booked, as we all know they would, and now for any canceled rooms they aren't re-listing since they don't really have them. I read somewhere that a woman tried to transfer her rooms to someone else since she was canceling and they wouldn't even do that! It's possible that they may release more cat 12's closer to the cruise just to fill the ship, if there is room.

Good luck!!!pixiedust: Make's me really glad we all jumped on the rooms when we did. If not for the great price break, I'm not sure we would be able to go at all. We have 4 rooms total & 3 of them are GTY cat 12's

Thanks for the links :)! In the good 'ol days a few years ago, Off Kilter used to tour and they came to Indy Irish Fest. Only an hour away from home and soooooo much cheaper than a trip to WDW :)!!

Just cause I'm wondering .... I know there are only like 13 cat 12's on the ship & I'm willing to bet they have oversold by a lot. Here's hoping lots of us DISers get UPGRADES!!!pixiedust:

We have (3) GTY cat 12 rooms. - One has 4 people so they should get an auto-upgrade to at least a cat 11.

Great news lucyddr!

The dollar makes me sad too.

We paid extra for a category 5 after I fell in love with my verandah during our 4 day in December. I am hoping that the 7 day will be really worth it. My parents are across the hall.

We have more snow here too - brutal.

I'm pretty sure we are going now, but if something changes I'll definitely PM all those looking for rooms before I cancel. Since we are going, I think we are going to see if my husband can take Friday off. If he can, we'll leave Thursday night and be in Port Canaveral Friday morning. If he works Friday, we'll probably fly Friday night so that we don't run into any disasters!

As for the poll, we are in a Cat.12 as well. It was cheaper than the Carnival cruise with a similar itinerary, which is pretty amazing! I'm hoping to upgrade at the port, but I'm fine if there aren't any available. (I would like a balcony, but only if it's plexiglass...)

Hope everyone is staying warm!

For the Poll - Were in a Cat.12 aswell!!!:thumbsup2

We are counting the days till were in the sun!:beach:

We just went from category 11 to category 5 - we needed to stay on the 7th floor near my parents.

We had three rooms, all cat.9. With the rates as good as they got, we changed one and made it a cat.12. There are three people in it. I wonder how many cabins are empty.

We're in a cat. 12 too!!! It was such a great deal.

lucyddr- That's so great to hear that you will definately be able to go!!!

We will be leaving on Friday morning and driving down to St. Augustine (it's about 10 hours from here) and then we'll drive to the port the next morning. :)

we are in a 12 too but know that we will at least be in an 11 since we have 4 people...couldn't beat the price!

So, by my count just our little group here have 10 of the 13 cat 12's on the ship.

2 of those should be auto-upgraded to a cat 11 (because they have 4 people), giving us a total of 8 out of 13 cat 12's....

Anyone else have one?

We are also gty category 12, we are a party of 4 so I guess category 11??
I was online checking out whether we should upgrade for a category higher but the cost has really jumped!!And since it is our first cruise I think we will see how we like, and at this price I would rather spend the extra on excursions and beer and wine!! lol :cool1:

I was wondering if there is anyway of knowing this early what movies will be playing on the cruise!? DGF and I love Disney Movies!!:happytv:

What movies will be playing on our voyage? You can call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.

has everyone made hotel reservations for the night before? would anyone be interested in trying for a group rate at the radisson? I am not sure how many rooms are needed to be booked.
