May 16, 2004 / 4 Day Wonder

Okay, okay. You're right about that one. But Glenn will have to decide which one of us he wants to FARTHER away from. I'll be sporting my finest "I think I'm gonna die" scream!

Just as long as there is not one in front of and one behind me. that would be SURROUND SOUND.

Anna- Microsoft Word has a feature called “Insert Word Art” This option lets you insert text. Let me know if you would like a copy of the Word doc I created e-mailed to you, all I need is an e-mail address.

> I guess I don't have to feel quite so lazy about not putting my luggage away after the April trip. I'll just consider myself that much closer to being ready to go!

Unpacking luggage HAS to be the worst job in the world....I'd rather clean the toilet......I always feel SO deflated knowing its OVER!!! :(

Kelli, knowing it (vacation) is over only means you got to start planning hte next trip.

On the road this last week and I get to go home tomorrow, yeah... really long weeks as of late, will be looking forward to kicking aback on the Wonder. In Evanston and Green River, Rosk Springs all week.

At least it did not snow like last week. Oh well back to my work.

We have a small miracle on our hands…I finished the pillowcases finally!! I just got back from a quick trip to Kinko’s, where they pressed the transfers for me. I will try to post a pic of one later.

On a side note, I had to return my memory card for the digital camera because it wasn’t compatible for some reason. So I walked out with a new one from Office Max and it is working perfect…trip photos here I come!

Keith was in Gillette and Sheridan!! And you know what "they" say, Evanston WY isn't the end of the world, but you can see it from there!! (So original!!)

I am SO ready to be gone...we've had WAY too much overtime the past month. We aren't used to it, so it makes it even worse! I'll be happy on payday, but til then.....

Be safe, and we'll see you REAL soon! ;-)

Scottie sounds like you have had some good fortune as of late. Good to hear, will look forward to a picture of the pillow cases. You should have pleanty of memory to take a pic or two.

Kelli, I did see the end of the end of the world, it's right outside of my hotel room. :p

You all will be able to recognize me at the port, I will be the wiped out guy, with the 1000 yard stare, begging to get on the ship. Actually look for a guy with several tatoos on his right leg, look close for the SCUBA Mickey amongst all the fish.

One more report to write then relax for the night.

Okay, I've got to clarify. I really did UNPACK my luggage after the b-day trip. I just didn't make the effort to stuff it back into the closet.

That's better. I was afraid I was sounding even lazier than I actually am (possible? I think not.)

I'm having a freak-out this morning. When I finally got a good look at my docs yesterday, I found that my reservation is missing the travel insurance. There's no way I'm going to travel with a 76 year old without travel insurance. I have a feeling that good ol' medicare wouldn't pay to have Dad brought back to the US if he fell ill in the Bahamas. Call me crazy.

I'm waiting to hear back from my travel agent. She's supposed to let me know if I can add it this late. So I'm busy having a complete melt down while I wait. And I do mean COMPLETE melt down. Be grateful that hysterics do not translate well in typing.

I just honestly can't imagine how I'm going to have a RELAXED vacation with the thought of the tens of thousands of dollars it would cost us if something unfortunate happened on the trip. I know the odds are way in our favor, but I don't like the "jackpot" if our number comes up.

And yes, you all can have a chuckle that it was ME that suggested just yesterday that we all relax, don't fret, and look forward to a great trip. Goodness how I just hate irony.

Annae, if you think YOU'RE scared, you should see the look my cat is giving me. I paced back and forth from one end of my house to the other this morning while fretting over my dilemma.

My cat started to seem quite nervous after this had gone on for awhile. He is quite fat and doesn't move very quickly. I think he was afraid he was about to suffer a serious "pacing injury."

I'm more calm now. But I'm still hoping that my TA will call me back soon. I don't think I'm going to be able to get to sleep until she does. I've got to go to work at 5:30 tonite so sleep would be a good thing.

I think I'll go lie down now and at least pretend I'm going to sleep.

 My goodness, lots of crazy people around. This cruise is going to be a TRIP, pun intended..

Glenn, you are included in your term crazy people right? You aren't much better. I think you know that!!!! lol

Not to worry you all but my job took me to our State Hospital last week, so I got lot's of experience. Actually the last two weeks. It worried me that I might not get to leave the place.

Looks like Scott is saying he is crazy too...The more the merrier, or do I have to watch my back? LOL

Will fill ya in when we meet, not the place. ;)

Me crazy, well there are many (co-workers) that would agree with that, and few that would disagree.

Not to worry Glenn, my job is to watch others backs, it will definitely be the more the merrier.

Looks like I got a reprieve from travel next week, will be nice to be home for the days before we leave. Will cut down on the last minute stuff.

It sounds like we're ALL going to have to show our wrists to each other when we meet to prove we're not still wearing our little bracelets from "the hospital!"

All is good in my world. Freak out is over. My TA called and gave me a site (csatravelprotection.com) that I can use to buy our insurance, and it will even cost me LESS than what it would have through DCL.

I just love it when mistakes actually turn out in my favor!

Off to work I go! I'll "talk" to you all tomorrow.
