Hey everyone...I found out I got a deluxe oceanview, midship, level 2. I have never been below level 5 but the CM I talked to on the phone said that it is very steady and quiet there, being so low and in the middle.

Anyone ever stay in that part of the ship? Let me know how it was!!

I stayed on deck 1 on the PC cruise in Jan.... not by choice, just signed up late.... I was very surprised at how nice and quiet it was. It also more steady than the upper part of the ship... I might wish I had stayed there on this one..lol

Any Catagory 11's get upgraded yet? We're gold members but haven't seen any hints of getting moved. Maybe they just need to get the 9's upgraded to make room for the 11's to go to 9's???

We were in a category 11A not GTY and were just upgraded to a 9A (7014)! So excited to have a window. Can't wait to tell my fiance. .

I told my family who were around when I checked... they just didn't understand my excitement over a room upgrade.

Will change the information in the excel sheet.

I always book midship deck 2 ocean view. I love it. I am happy I got an upgrade, but slightly nervous I will feel more motion on deck 7 but I guess that is what the patch is for. You will love deck 2.

Easy there!! They left me with the creepy two portholes! I don't mind deck one, but I'm not looking forward to the lesser light through such small portholes. I've always cruised with floor to ceiling glass, I need my natural light to fuction and feel normal. Last year on our Med., it seems as though they moved up most everyone from deck 1 to deck 2 and gave out the deck 1 staterooms to staff. Doesn't look as though they are going to do that this year. You roll the dice and move your mice.....

sniff, I am sorry! You will just have to spend lots of time topside or touring cabins.

I remember episodes of stowaways on the Loveboat, or a disgruntled cabin mate sleeping out by the pool, so ya a room is good!

The only way I know is to call DCL and ask. -

I just did the first two of FEE gifts for the kids in our group, and they turned out super cool, I am so excited! And knew you would all "get it"

Hey Deck 1 & 2 are great people we can have our parties down under!

I thought from all he upgrades that we were going to be the only ones on deck 1. Glad there will be some others so it won't be eerily quiet

We aren't planning on spending too much time in our rooms - so we didn't mind where we were as long as we are on the ship.

We were an 11C bottom of the barrel and are now a 10A split bath, bigger cabin Deck 2. No complaints, but if they upgrade again.... any possibility without telling us?
