Welcome new cruisers.

We have almost everything arranged except the trip to the Barcelona airport and a possible excursion to Seville.

We didn't feel uncomfortable in Barcelona- stayed there three days prior to our cruise last April. Rome, IMHO was far worse. There were pick pockets so obviously working the metro stations and the trains-- using the old one person drops the pretend baby when they come near you, you try to help and then the partners distract and rob you. They were even casing the nuns we were riding out towards Vatican City with. They took one look at oldest dd and she just met their eyes, shook her head and they moved on. I guess growing up riding the subway can be a good thing sometimes.

I love the lanyard/nametag idea! I definitely want my name and board name on my tag. Not so sure how my husband would feel about having "MermaidMama" on his tag, but hey, he'll be on his dream vacation so I'm doubtful he will complain!

Ok. This is simply the first request. I'm thinking it should probably say, "Disney Magic Eastbound Transatlantic, May 14-28, 2011".

Thoughts? Feedback. If we go with these, they would be $1.50 each.

I will create the name tag and provide the plastic holder.

Hi all,

We (Polona, Marko, Lovro (DS,1) will be joining you for the crossing. We did the Disney transatlantic westbound 2 years ago and just loved it so are bringing the little one on his first Disney (and second altogether) cruise.

Did not read through all the posts yet but it seems we will have another great group of people crossing the Atlantic. Looking forward to meeting you all on-board.

I like the style and the Mickey head!

Only suggestion....would we want to go with the DIS Board lime green for the lanyard? Actually, blue's my favorite color but the lime green does make us recognizable from a distance!!

Of course, there may be some folks who aren't participating in the fish extenders who will want the lanyards anyway.

I am not participating in the fish extenders. And yes I'd love to still have a lanyard. I didn't realize they were part of your FE.

Can you Please make name tags and let non FEers buy lanyards?

Since there are conversations going on here and on Facebook, I just wanted to let everyone know that there is no need to worry...I will have lanyards for anyone who wants them, even if not participating in the fish extender. I won't know until I figure out how many I need to order, but they will be somewhere between 1.50 and 2.00 each. Thanks again for all of the input and patience.
