May 14, 2011 - Eastbound TransAtlantic

Hi gang!

I can't believe it's tomorrow!!!! So happy I could pee my pants!!! :yay:

I've been away from the board for a month or so and haven't been able to read the last 30 or so pages of postings. Too much packing to do to sit and read through them today. I would really, REALLY apprecite it if someone could help get me up to speed on any changes, new activities, etc that have occured since early April.

As the song goes . . . "I don't wanna miss a thing!"

See y'all soon!

Thanks,
Susan

Sorry Susan, i am just here to print some last minute lists off the spreadsheet, i am so not ready!!!!!!

I am unclear on if I have been assigned someone who wants to come with us to the rent a prince & princess-
I have 3 kids & 3 adults-- so I can take 3 more adults

Also-- do I have to rush immediately to guest services to sign up for this or is this something that all kids are invited to?

I think that my mother and I are renting some of your little people!!!

We're all set and ready to go. We're at the terminal right now waiting to get on the ship :D

Hope everyones having a great time

I was at Jetty Park on Saturday, wishing you, "Bon Voyage!". Here's a link to the pictures I took if you'd like them.

Have a great voyage!

Thank you, the photos are great. We couldn't have the sail away party because of the invasion of the love bugs, so it is nice to see them. The cruise was absolutely fantastic with an incredibly smooth crossing and I have made lots of wonderful new friends.:grouphug:

Just back from the EBTA. Great time. Thanks to Disney for the 'pixie dust' Park Hopper tickets and the cabin upgrade. Thanks also to the 'Purple Lanyard' team for all their work...may the magic be with you...

Welcome back!!! :thumbsup2 The WBTA folks were sending "calm ocean" vibes your way for the crossing!! Looking forward to hearing all of your reports on the cruise!!

Back home after a FANTASTIC cruise - what a super time we had.

Thanks to everyone for organising events, lanyards, book swaps and everything else.

Hope everyone has a good a time as we did. I still can't believe how calm the Atlantic was.

for those on the BTB med cruise - keep enjoying the magic

Sharon

(no idea when our next Disney holiday will be :( )

Welcome home to all the EB cruisers. Hope you all had a wonderful cruise. I would love to hear all about the cruise and the port adventures people had on the cruise.

Agree, agree, agree :thumbsup2!!

The only glitch to the entire trip were the lovebugs causing no sail away party on the 14th. Actually a blessing in disguise as we were able to get completely unpacked before dinner. The weather to follow was fantastic, it couldn't have been any better! Our best cruise, ever, in large part due to this great group of Disers we sailed with :goodvibes

I was worried about staying deck one with the small portholes...I was concerned that there would not be enough light let in. Well, we loved the location (mid ship) and connecting rooms! The kids enjoyed being so close to the water...the sun would reflect off the ocean onto the ceiling and make patterns. Midship was perfect for my MIL and it was super easy to get her an elevator on deck one. Such a quiet location and less creaking in the room overall. Seemed to be less "wear and tear" in the room as well. My DH adored being on a lower deck, I doubt we will ever book a verandah room again!
