how hard do you think it would be to send postcards to my kids from each port? I know how it works at CC, but wondering about the other ports how hard it is going to be to get the postcards, the postage and get them mailed. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like we have 13 cabins so far all between deck 2 and 7 no biggies![]()
anyone else want to tour cabins and/ or offer their cabins please fill out the cabin tour tab on the spreadsheet.
I'm Thinking 10:00 AM on the 19th should fit between breakfast and late lunch
a few days in should know the good and bad of room / location
Let me know thoughts of date / time

Hi!
It seems to me like a lot of DCL activities are scheduled around 10:00 on sea days. The Art of Entertaining series is usually held around 10:00 and DVC and CASTAWAY gatherings are usually held in the morning. Of course there is no perfect time to schedule something, but how about after lunch, maybe 2 or 3:00. That should still work around brunch or tea times at PALO.
You mentioned we don't have any "room biggies." Would it be too pushy to check the roll call cabin numbers for types of rooms we don't have and PM them to see if maybe they would include their room on a tour?
THANKS for organizing this for us!

Hi!
On the Panama Canal Cruise in January, they sold the correct postage in the gift shops and then you took the card to Guest Services by a certain time and they would put it in the mail for you.
Don't know if that was a special service for Panama or not.
See you real soon!!!!( But SOOOOO MUCH TO GET DONE FIRST!!!! I just finished making my to do list for home and work.
Oh MY!!! )

when my 7 yr old & I were on our South America/Antarctica Cruise earlier this year- part of his independent study assignment was he to mail a postcard from each port we visited.
Some ports were easy & had gift shops with postcards abundant and other cities were a challenge. One place we stopped - Punta Arenas, the gift shop had postcards but ran out of stamps- the post office was 30 minute walking away & we were to be onboard the ship in 10min- I asked the gal if I could pay her for the postage & she just send it next week whenever they got more stamps-- she looked confused for a bit, but then said Yes-- I guess that will work.
Also-- I paid anywhere from $1.50 US to $4.50 for each of the postcards-- quite the expensive homework assignment.......![]()
So did that postcard show up? LOL!

ATTENTION: To help make it easier to find each other for dancing, drinks, karaoke, chatting each evening... for those interested, meet in the promenade lounge at 10pm each evening to join others.
Thanks for adding us to the trip tamsocal and thanks for organizing it.
The meeting at 10 at the Promenade Lounge is a great idea as well.
looked on DCL website & may EBTA is "not available"
This is a great idea.
