We got it a Lowes, $199 deal for the total install, the deal is now $99 for a whole house. They are even doing ours a room at a time as we finish each room.

Great deal!! Our contractor didn't want to go with any of the big 3, but I bet it would have worked out better if we had!

Thanks to all for your well wishes. Dad is resting okay in the hospital with more tests tomorrow. All of the arrangements have been made for Joe's Dad.
Viewing on Tuesday and funeral on Wednesday. Amidst the sadness we've had sprinkles of Joy which keep us in the land of the living.

We are still hoping to keep our trip to the WORLD this Thursday evening, but are taking things one day at a time until we are out of the woods on all fronts.

I haven't seen Joe yet today... but when I do, I will tell him of course we will have to wait until the snow melts! For now, I'm sure he will say, Let's visit them at OKW, SSR, or AKL Villas!!!

Old Key West Resort​

This will be an open house with wine and cheese and other snacks. Since there will be many from this cruise, the Repo cruise and some of my pin friends there at the same time it is a great time to get together!

We are in Room 6232. Building 62, off Miller Rd first building on the left. If you are taking the bus, it is the best to get off at the Hospitality House. The building is just across the street. We are on the third floor, but the elevator is right outside the door.

Can't wait to see everyone!

We will be making the trip. Thanks for the info. We are oh so tired and exhausted from every angle. Things went well yesterday for all of the services, and my father was released from the hospital in time to come to the gravesite. He did have a mini stroke, and is still weak... but he is home!

Georgie, I must have missed what all went on with your family. Sorry to hear about all the issues right now, but I'm glad you'll be able to get away for a bit!! I hope you enjoy all the visits!!

Scott, guessing you missed Friday at home!! BLECH!!! 30º +/- 5 degrees and 30+ mph winds. Lost the power pole behind Burger King on Lincolnway, and the whole area to the TV station was out of power/phone/CATV/ for the afternoon. Wish I was someplace else....ANYwhere else!!!! Where's that global warming again?!?!?!?

opps....I guess the full story was on the 5 night thread.....seeing all the hard work Scott & Lynn have been putting into their house (as well as seeing your new kitchen)....it has given Mom and I the reno bug....but ours is relatively small scale...we changed our guest "Mickey" room into a storage room with clothes armoires along one wall and storage cabinets along the other wall...here's a picture...

and then we decided to paint my bedroom and Mom's bedroom...so that meant I had to "strip" off the old wallpaper & wallpaper border in our rooms...hence where the "stripping" comes in....then I painted my bedroom - pictures still to come because I have to wait 2 weeks for the paint to "cure" before I can add my border....and then I posted that I was spending this weekend painting Mom's bedroom...and I mentioned I would be up to my elbows in paint and Bob (BobandLee) decided I was now into "body painting"!!!!


So there you have it....I also had another small little project.....I created a pantry for Mom and she loves it....but the closet is a little small to take a picture.

Okay...I know it is only May 10....but 3 years ago...today was May 14 and Mom and I were sitting at the airport in Toronto waiting to board our Air Canada flight that would begin our vacation of a lifetime.....so many memories and friendships were formed on our incredible adventure.....I just wanted to say thanks to all my fellow PC cruisers for all the memories.....I'll be watching the Magic transit the canal and remembering the fun we had creating our own BBQ on Kelli BAV.
