Welcome to my review. I have never done this before so here goes nothin'.

The cast Me 29, DH 36, DS 4-1/2, DS 3.

We have only been to WDW once before (Oct. '05) and this time I did a lot of researching and with all of your help our trip was just perfect:goodvibes

Day 1
Animal Kingdom
(CS) Tusker House
1/2 Rotisserie Chicken w/ mashed potatoes and vegies---A
Fried Chicken sandwich w/ steak fries---A+ (DH loved this sandwich)
Mac n Cheese w/ carrots, Applesauce---My kids liked it, it's mac 'n cheese.
Dessert was chocolate cake:cool1: and it was heavenly!!

Magic Kingdom
(TS)Liberty Tree Tavern ---A++
This is family style. They serve salad with a vinaigrette dressing (nice), turkey, carved beef, smoked pork loin (all very good), mashed potatoes, seasoned veggies (loved these!), stuffing, gravy (good), mac 'n cheese and the most amazing rolls ever! We loved this meal. My kids were just in their glory with all of the characters. Actually, the characters spend so much time with each table that by the end of our meal my kids didn't even really find it to be such a big deal anymore. We will go back for sure.

More to come later. Ann

DAY 2
MGM
(CS) Pizza Planet---A+
We have been here before and the thing that we like the most about Pizza Planet is that you can save a (CS) here if you have small children. We used 2CS and got pizza and side salads with soft drinks and cookies. This fed 4 people. 2 of those were children but it is still a good amount of food. This was our second visit to PP. We had been here once before on the October '05 trip. To be quite honest I do not feel that there is a whole lot to choose from at MGM as far as CS go.

EPCOT
(TS)Coral Reef
The Coral Reef is always up and down as far as reviews go.
Personally, we enjoyed this experience.

Appetizers
Creamy Lobster Soup...if you like rich and creamy, this stuff is for you.
I loved it!
DH had the Land and Sea...steak and shrimp---A++

Entrees
Shrimp Pasta...DH loves anykind of pasta and seafood and this fit the bill.
Grilled NY Strip steak...I enjoy my steak done MR, they nailed it. It was delicious:cool1:
Kids had the option of Mahi Mahi over rice, instead they allowed me to get grilled chicken. It was very juicy and a generous portion.

DESSERT
DH had the moose and I had the cheesecake...these were the best desserts, until we ate at Ohana:goodvibes

Overall we were very pleased with the Coral Reef. The atmosphere is just wonderful. We had several divers come and entertain our table as we sat and watched and the servers here are as kind and accomodating as you can get.

I am pleased that I kept my reservation here b/c I was considering bagging this restaurant due to so many negative posts.

To come is OHANA:)

I feel terrible not to have any photos for you. We forgot our charger at home and had to save any and all battery life that we had. What a bummer! We will know better next time.

Excellent ~ Looking forward to reading more:thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't posted Ohana yet...too much to catch up on.
This evening I am going to sit down and write it up. Let me just say that if I could put scratch 'n sniff on this computer screen for you, we would be in business!!! No, just kidding, but Ohana is my new FAVE:cool1: !!

I am anxious to hear about Ohana! We are going there for the first time on our next trip!

Sorry I haven't posted Ohana yet. I just want the extra time that I need and haven't found it yet. Surely by tomorrow I will have it up here for you:upsidedow .

Thanks again for reading. Ann

OHANAA++
Can you say YUM-O?
This dining experience was far more than sitting and eating some food:banana: This was a dinner not to be missed!
We had an ADR for 5:30 and got to the POLY at about 5:10. Within 10 minutes we were being seated and served:goodvibes

First of all the service was wonderful. The staff at Ohana are very happy and interactive with their "cousins". Secondly, they make it quite fun for the little ones if they care to partake in activities.

Now about the food....
We sat and they started pouring food to us immediately:cool1:
For starters they brought lovely greens with a honey-lime dressing (tastes sweet and sour). I thought we would have salad, then some appetizers, then an entree. No, the food comes, and it keeps coming until you wonder were they are gonna put it all.

They served peel 'n eat shrimp flavored spicy-sweet, fried wontons with dipping sauce...the peanut sauce is so good that we used it for our steak. Maui scalloped potatoes, stir-fried veggies, Honey chicken wings (personally, I'm not a fan...these tasted like cinnabun sauce on a hunk a meat..EWW!)

And then for the REAL FOOD hot off the grill we had sirloin steak, grilled turkey and pork loin (I'm not a big pork lover, but on this evening I could have devoured the entire pig!!!). I never even tried the sausage, too full from all the pork:rotfl:

You think you have just had all that there could possibly be and then came
DESSERT! Naturally, bread pudding doesn't sound like anything to write home about... until you've had it at Ohana:dance3:
It's served a la mode with Bananas Foster Sauce:banana:
To die over and over again for!!!

We had enjoyed this meal like no other, if you couldn't already tell. We love food and we enjoy good times. Ohana hit the nail on the head for doing that!:thumbsup2

We said that we would etch this restaurant in stone for every Disney trip we take, and boy do I hope there are many of those. I hope you enjoy dining here as much as my family did.

Ears to ya:goodvibes
