May 13, 2007 EARLY Roll Call… 5/13/2007 4-Night Wonder

That’s true it is a well deserved vacation so set some spending money aside for laundry service! Spend time with your family and not the fellow cruisers in the laundry room!
:laundy:

Scottie that is the game plan here. We might do some wash after talking abour it the night before we set sail at the hotel. We plan to call it an early night so the kids get a good night sleep and so do we.

We hit Disney in 43 days. I can not wait. Heavy planning for what to take and how much is on.

It was 78 here in chicago yesterday and should hit that today. But I still can not wait for the warm weather of Disney.

:wave2: Hi All,
Did someone ask for a second door sign?
I'm doing signs for two different cruises and it can be a llittle topsie turvey at times. Getting alittle mixed up..
gg

Gramps not here. But I love the one you made for us. I can not wait to see it.

I have to tell all of you everyday I wake up with a smile these days just knowing we are that much closer to getting out of here. I look at my count down chain everyday and see it getting shorter and shorter. We only have 42 days left. Time is on the move. With the warm weather and getting outside boy are things moving. They will most likely slow down next week when it drops from 78 to the 40's. Will it never end.

Scotties has you MIL found a new job or any really great leads yet. I am hoping she gets something soon.

Hi everyone! We are late joiners to the group and hope you don't mind if we join in....we are SO EXCITED      about our trip!!

there are 5 of us, me, DH, DD 5yo, DS and DD twins 8 months old.

Yes we have twins and are traveling with them on our trip. Should be fun, huh! :lmao:

We love to cruise and can't wait for our first trip on DCL. When I have some time, I will start at the beginning of this thread to read up on all of you.
Looks like it has been going a while so it may take me some time.

Welcome Aboard Deaner... Better late then never!!:thumbsup2

Sounds like you will also have your hands full with the kiddies. 8 months old, hopefully you have the twins trained to sleep 20 out of 24 hours ;) My youngest daughter just turned 6, maybe she will see your DD in the club.

Feel free to post away with any comments questions concerns that may arise before we all head out to sea for Moms Day! Nice to have someone else joining the gang pirate:

Well I have accomplished two more tasks before cruising... booked the kennel for our dog and finally purchased a new stroller for Dylan. Just got to wait for the UPS man to show up so we can give it a spin to break it in before hitting the cruise and WDW.

Mickey4- no new job for her yet. I am actually not sure she has been looking real hard. We bought her a plane ticket yesterday for mom’s day, to come visit the kids next week. She will be staying for 10 days. I did remind her if she lands a new job soon to make sure she lets them know she has vacation scheduled for mid-May!

Deaner Welcome to our fun ship Disney style. My son is 5 and they might see each other in the clubs. Good look finding the time to read up with all those little ones. Moms never seem to have much mom time. This is our 1st cruise too. We are so looking forward to it. Hope to hear from you more.

Scottie well it sounds like things are falling into place. I hope your MIL finds something soon. But I think it goes you have to look to find something. Aleast in most case's jobs don't come to you. j/k. I will be thinking of your family and hoping everything works out.

Funny you say that... I just told her yesterday she needs to look because I cant imagine a job is going to land on her door step! :)

My mom use to tell us that all the time. If you want it you need to go out and get it. I use to roll my eyes at that ok so I still once in a while. But how true it is.

I was just looking and shocked by how fast we all are filling up pages. Wow we are #23 already. Things are starting to happen fast. I must say. This is great to see it helps those days go by faster.

Hi everyone!
I'm a bit late also, but we'll be joining you all on the May 13 Wonder cruise too!
My Disney Fiance and I are going on our first cruise ever! and we are also on our first trip to Florida/WDW all the way from Brisbane, Australia!
My DF was diagnosed with cancer last year [only 23!] and went into remission in Sept 06, so we are ready to P.A.R.T.Y.
We are also headed for Vegas :rotfl:
We're a bit shy at first, but hope to meet some great fellow DIS-ers! And make lots of great friends and memories

DisneyAngel05 wlecome to our fun ship Disney style. This is my families 1st cruise. We have been to Disney several times so if you have any questions please ask me. We are also so ready to Party with our boys.pirate: Only a few more days left and we can all party.

What are your plans. When do fly in. We will be in on May 9th and going to WDW 1st then hitting the ship.

For sure, Welcome to our small but fun group of DISers cruising on the 13th DisneyAngel05!
I imagine your arms are going to be tired swimming all the way from Australia to Florida! ;) I am curious, how long of a flight are you looking at and does it make any stops? I have always wanted to visit Australia!

I am sorry to hear about your DF diagnosis...but delighted to read that it is in remission. That seems more then enough reason to party Disney Style!
:cheer2:  :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

DisneyAngel05 Yes how long of a flight. We have been talking for years to visit your area. Ok queensland. We have always wanted to make that trip but more now that my boys love the Irwins and want to go to the ZOO. But I think it is like a 14 hour flight and so I am thinking it is better to wait until there older. I want them to really remember it.

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome! :goodvibes

We fly Air NZ from Brisbane to LA, this stops in Auckland, NZ and takes 12-13 hours I think, it is a long time, but in Australia, anywhere overseas takes a long time so we are used to it. lol
Australia Zoo [home of the Irwins] is only about 1 hr from my place and it is great! We're all still pretty devastated about Steve, [do you know I met Terri!] but the Zoo is fantastic. You'd all really love Queensland, it is a really nice place to come, and the beaches are awesome.

We are in Vegas from May 5-8, and then WDW from 9-12. Staying at the Comfort Suites Maingate East, which I hope is ok. We even got CRT lunch ressies for May 10!

I was a Cast Member for the Disney Store in Australia, until they closed, so I am a big Aussie Disney fan and I just CAN"T WAIT TO GO!!!!!

We went to Vegas and Disneyland in 2004, and I just couldn't believe how amazing it was! Then my then-boyfriend proposed to me at the entrance to Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Disneyland Paris, so you can imagine how excited we are [well me at least, DF just wants to gamble in Vegas!] :rotfl:

That is great. Well someday we will be making that long flight. We just want to wait until the kids our a little older. I do no think a 3 year old would make the flight. Yes we here too are all tore up about Steve. My son loved him and when they show reruns of the show he says mom see he was not killed. And I have to try to explain that one.

My husband too popped the question at WDW. You are going to have a great time.

I think we may hold off till the kids are older for that long flight too! The castle seems to be a popular area to propose... I also proposed to my DW in near the castle at WDW. Good Times!!
