Hello...don't mean to crash your thread, but just saw the title...we will be a the Pop 5/13-5/19 :goodvibes This is our first trip to WDW...will anyone have lime green Mickey Heads on their stuff so we will be able to recognize fellow DISers?

I have a few questions, if you all dont mind to help me out a bit....just remember I am a first~timer, so I may have a few. I am *really* trying to plan things out, so:

1~Would MGM be a good place to spend our first afternoon at Disney? We are driving down, and will arrive around 10 / 11 on Sat may 19th. Anyone done the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg w/ Hollywood & Vine?? If you have to choose between that pkg or just watch the show w/out the dinner to do the Little Einsteins Character Lunch which would you do??

2~Could I split a day with Animal Kingdom until Mickey's Parade at 4 then head to Epcot for the evening? Not enough time for one or the other???

3~Isnt there a bonfire type thing at the Animal Kingdom Lodge? It is for anyone, even if you are not staying there? Any done that???

Yes! if you have park-hopper tickets.. or it would cost you another days ticket.

Outside, at the Arusha Rock, there is nightly African storytelling next to Ogun's Firepit. (Storytelling is held indoors in the event of inclement weather.) If you have the opportunity, take the time to speak with the storytellers. Was this maybe what you heard about?

Ask away....we will try to help out....

Yes, We have the hopper.....just curious as to if u need that much time for those parks. I have read some say half days for epcot/mgm/ and ak.....just getting the opinions of you fab ladies ;)

Hi Kim....for us...family of five DH-DW-DS (36) DDIL (31) and grandson (5) we find a half day for MGM (more shows here) is enough...a full day at the AK (a lot more things for kids to do...for us the Boneyard is a must do) and we spend a lot of time at the MK for our grandson....I love Epcot but not so much little kid friendly and it is a lot of walking....joho

Disneyanajc...we have a bit in common :)

I grew up in LA, first visit to DL was 1967 -- I remember the Tahitian Terrace restaurant, and when they had real live girls in mermaid costumes sunning themselves in the Submarine Lagoon. I can't wait to see the Carousel of Progress again!

I'm in Northern CA now, but we make it down to DL about once a year. This is our very first trip to WDW! :woohoo:

More in common.... I'm in Northern CA .... 1967 is when I fell in love with Disney... You brought back memories, and I'm so excited that the SUBs are coming back.... I pay homage to the Carousel of Progress every WDW trip  JC

Do I need a special siggy or logo? :confused3
