HEY MAYERS!!! :wave2:
Still waiting to hear official word from Disney, hopefully this week :)....When I get in (note the positive thinking here :goodvibes), I'm probably going to leave a week before I check in and spend the week having fun in the parks since I have my AP just sitting around, gathering dust :lmao:

Jo - You'll be there in May! Just keep up with those subliminal messages to your DH :)

Thanks Shelly...

Huggie .... Mari...post your plans and maybe we can find a way to meet up...:cool1: Sulley and Jo come on we need you to plan with us...popcorn::

Now I'm off to find more Family history...have a Disney Day!

JC

Hey JC....I  planning and I'm definitely up for a Mayer Meet!

Hi Everyone,

I am going May 15-20 with my DS (3) (a little nervous about that). It will be our first time at WDW and we are staying at POP. All tips and advice will be appreciated.

Thanks!

I am taking the kids for the first time and we are going May 4 - 10, not sure what plans we have yet. I know the kids are going to have a blast, like I did my first time. Was telling them lots of things already and the pins you can trade sound like fun.

Welcome Jordans_Mommie and junebug!! :yay:
May is a wonderful time to go and this is a wonderful group of people to get info and tips from.

AHHHHH

My allergies are killing me. UGH!!! I can't stand it. Dh is away until Thursday and this is the first time alone since the girls have been born. I have been keeping myself busy cleaning. Luckily I am having a dinner playdate tomorrow, to pass the time.

Ok,

So I see a bunch of restaurants I want to go to in May but I am afraid. I love my standards. WHat should I do.

I Love Crystal Palace but I was thinking I should try a lunch. I also want to try Kona Cafe and Whispering Canyon. I also want to try Teppan Edo. But I must go to Le Cellier. I am not sure. We have 2 adr's to Le Cellier in Dec, I am thinking I might be tired of it come May. I am soooo confused. Plus Dh and I are going to try and get Preggo when we get back from Disney so I am planning on being pregnant come May. So my tastebuds will change.

Any advice?????????

Jo- I know you will be joining us in May. I can feel it.

Definitely try the Kona Cafe...it's got great food for dinner and there've been many good things said about breakfast too (Tonga Toast....looks so yummy!)

This just in...

Disney called and my wife has orientation tomorrow!!! :cool1:

I will let you all know how it goes!

Seacrest

Thank you very much MAYers! I've had some rest and now I need to ask for that special MAYer power that we all seem to have when combined :) MY little guy was born with hearing problems and was tested several times. We have been told to give it time, but you all know how difficult that can be for a new parent. THanks again!

Hey Michelle....

It will be OK. Believe me i know how difficult it is.... my daugther had seizures last year right before our WDW trip and i was going crazy. Roman will be OK. He has a good family behind him. and he also has us Mayers...

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Here is for Roman.....

My 2 cents: Remember just me and DH (no kids).
We loved Whispering Canyon (you have to ask for a refill and ketchup!) Kids really have a good time.
Le Cellier was okay.

Thanks I will look into it. I actually have an adr for dec but I think we will go to Coral Reef for lunch instead.

Mornin'

Michelle, first off, congratulations on little precious. I know that he is a joy beyound compare.
Prayers and hugs to you in dealing with his hearing. Please keep us posted on his journey, and remember to take care of yourself. The unknown is so hard to deal with, especially at a time when you are just learning about one another. Miracles do take place, so I am praying for one for you.

We had issues with Drew when he was 8 days old. He kept having seizures and had to be rushed to the hospital. It was stressful.
And dealing with your hormones as well as exhaustion and then just physically, the recuperation of your body...:guilty: I'm so sorry...

Prayers uttered for you and your family, dear friend.

Take care,
Jo

PS...

He is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a head full of black hair! How sweet....

Please send some of the new baby scent my way.

Jo

Seacrest,
Oh My GOSH!!!!! Congrats to your wife on the job! How wonderful! We want all the little details of how her first day went...popcorn::

Sulley, Thanks! I am wearing my M Mouse shirt today...not too subliminal.:lmao: I am crossing my fingers for you to hear something soon.

JC, For the PD. And just for the friendship.:)

Shelly, tell your DH one of your imaginary MAYer friends lives 30 minutes away.:rotfl: Maybe we can meet up at TRU one day, if you have Christmas shopping to get done.:rolleyes1

Mari, have you decided where you are staying? I forgot what you said.

So I made French toast this morning for breakfast. Anyone have any good recipes they want to share for it? My SIL is coming on Friday and I want to impress her with my cooking abilities, lol. She's the one in college. I'm sure she would eat paint off of a wall as long she didn't have to pay for it.:)

Jo

Hey JO i'm actually staying at POP this time around. That one seems more kid friendly. My DD is only 2 so i think all the Colors and Huge objects will really catch her attention. I wanted CSR but DH said POP.. he did say next time we'll do CSR while DD is still young.... so that means to me that our WDW trips might become a regular thing.... YAY....

:rolleyes1 :bored: I'm sitting here bored at work and i decided to go back and read some or our old posts:surfweb: ... what ever happened to Tasmen... Lakehead....Goofybaby... Newcrew????? :confused3

I was looking for any tips for our trip this year......

Thank you very much everyone! My husband finally is starting to upload photos! here is one:

Take good care of yourself and get some ‘sleep’ when you can…give big sister and big brother some hugs from the MAYers,,:grouphug:

Mornin':surfweb:

So last night I heard this bump sound and yell down to Dh "what was that?" and he said "I thought it was you?" (I was upstairs doing laundry...I love having it on the second floor:love: ). Anyway, we start looking around. It wasn't the dog, it wasn't the kids- they were all watching football with DH. WHAT WAS THAT SOUND??????popcorn::

I opened the front door. We'd been Boo'ed! The kids started yelling and screaming and candy was flying.:rotfl: Ahhhhh, I love October.:woohoo:

Seacrest, I forgot to tell you after your last post to me about coming to CA...
DH really is only into college football. And even then, only SEC, really. The funny thing is, he can get any tickets he wants here in Pittsburgh FOR FREE to any game- Steelers, Pirates, Penguins. And he never does. :) The only way he'd go to a USC game is if they were playing our boys of Florida. Now THAT would be a game!!!!;) I, however, would love to go to the Horse races, though.

I was trying yesterday to see how far of a trip it would be to drive from LA to San Fran. I've always wanted to go to SF (I've talked about it all my life.) and DH said he'd take me there for our 10th, but I don't know how I'd fit in DL.:wizard: Could you take the Pacific Coast Highway? I am so ignorant about CA.:rotfl:

Please enlighten me.:headache:

Jo
