I made it through!! The kids both made it home safe and sound!
DS has 19 kids in his kindergarten class. I think 20 or less is a great number! DS 8 has 22 in his room this year.

Well, it's off to soccer tonight. And it's a hot one!
I just love how school and soccer and everything all start in the same week!

That is a great class size for Kindergarten. I hope he has a great first year of school.

Hey.... Great news I have another trip to WDW in the works for Aug of 08. One of my close friends wants to take her 4 DD to celebrate her birthday. When i got back from disney this past may i brought her back some souveniers now she will NOT stop talking about seeing mickey. My friend is trying to convince me (which won't take too much) to go with her and her DD. so yeah i might be going this time staying at the POP.....we're looking into quotes now... but it seems 90% sure....

No real planned trips right now, I'm hoping/planning on doing the college program in Fall '08, so if that ends up working out, there'll be no trips til then, if I decide not to do the CP, then I'll start thinking about planning a trip

It's basically an internship type program, where you can spend anywhere from 4 months on up working for Disney. I'm not very good at explaining it, but their website has tons of info....http://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com

I have RL friends who've done it before and they all want to go back, they had so much fun....

Oooooooohhhhh that would be awesome if you could go in MAY again!! We would definitely have to meet up then!
Is this your grandson's first year of school? I found that mid-May was a good time to take the kids out of school, there's not really too much going on that week. As long as the school doesn't have a problem with it and they are getting good grades, then I feel it's okay to do it. Not so sure I'll do it once they get into JrHigh.

I can see why you want to go back to the Poly, it sure looks awesome!

What's up? Any news?

My wife is still looking for work...she even applied for work over at Disney offices in our area.

The weather has been awesome here. About 75-80, sunny and really nice. It doesn't seem like fall is coming soon. There is still time to enjoy strolls on the beach and watch some sunsets before the time change starts.

Mornin' MAYers! Um, you're all still MAYers in my heart...

Hope everyone is doing okay.

DH and I got back yesterday from Nemacolin resort. I was on vacation, he was on business.
I had a lot of much needed relaxation time, and came back peace filled and happy. I have decided that everyone needs a bit of time to themselves at least once a year.

Bathroom breaks don't count. Had a "Lomi Lomi" massage, and it was worth every penny of the outrageous price.

Anyway, if you ever get the chance to go to Nemacolin, I highly recommend it.


OOOhhhhh! Dh asked last night if I want to go to Sunday's Steelers game. They are playing the Buffalo Bills, I think. Box seats! Again, he'll be there on business with the company, I'll be there for the food. And wine. Oh yeah, and football.

How's everyone doing? A little check-in from ya'll is required for continued membership in the MAYers club, please.

JC!!!!!!! Girlie, you know, I am glad that you got yourself a new computer. I am wanting to get a new laptop, but right now we are shelling out bucks for an office desk, dining room chairs, and a leather sectional for the basement. I hope you are doing good.

Mari~ I am jealous of the trips scheduled. We stayed at Orange Lake in a time share once. Be sure to ask for the newer section.
