hahaha!!! we really have been thinking about it, we just can't get a good time to go! January and February are our only choices but DHs coworkers have these months covered in vacation time already we will NOT NOT NOT go in March-September again, we've learned our lesson, not to mention we have our big Mexico trip Then that leaves October and we're already going in November where the weather is cooler, so we're back to where we were before!

Mari ~ Great news on going in Feb 2008!

Hershey was fun! It always is. It is our second favorite place to go. Any guesses on our favorite ?!?

Jo ~ We drove home in those awful storms Thursday night. We were supposed to stop half way home and stay overnight, but DH said he wanted to cancel our reservation and just drive through. The kids were being good in the backseat watching their DVD's, so I went along with the plan. Well, wouldn't you know it we drove right into the storm. DH kept driving and I kept praying and eventually we made it home! I guess they had some tornados in Ohio and flooding south of us (your area JO) but we just had really heavy rain here. No damage!

I missed Big Brother the other night while we were driving. But I called my mom and she told me what happened!

I'll try to get some of my Hershey pictures loaded soon!

Wow Shelly you had quite an adventure. Here in NJ we had some floods and in NY there was a tornado. A tornado in NY that is crazy. How are ur plans going for May 08?

I realized the problem when a big group of people are going to disney together. Nobody ever agrees on where to eat.... I keep telling everyone you better make up your mind or we will not have anywhere to eat.

Well, my plans for May 2008 are going very well. Actually DH just told me the other day to go ahead a book it!! I haven't decided if I should book it yet or not. Last year the May package special didn't come out until January. I don't really want to wait clear until then to book! Plus we are planning on staying at CSR and I read that the main pool at CBR will be under rehab during that time so I am thinking that will bring more people to CSR, so maybe I should just go ahead and book now!

You are within 6 months, aren't you??? WOW, you better get those dining reservations made!! That would be hard with a large group.

Shelly, glad you had fun and made it home safely. About your trip in May... book now, then when a package/special comes out, call CRO and have them apply it to your reservation. Very easy, and you can start making payments. Wish I could plan a trip.

Hey, have you ever heard of Nemacolin Spa and resort in PA? Dh is having a meeting there in Sept. and his boss told him to bring me so I could take a break. How nice of him.

JO - Forgot to tell you that we were in your area Sunday. Well, your new area. The kids had a swimming party so DH and I started our Christmas shopping! Went to the Toys R Us in Cranberry. Love that one!

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing good.

Been busy the last few days..our son turn 21 on Saturday. Friday night we had a family bash at Buca Di Beppo. Ate in the "Pope" room. Fun place, good food and lots of it. Got my son new guitar for his b-day, a acoustic electric Epiphone, John Lennon model. He was stoked!

My wife, her mom, and my son Chris went up to Solvang for few days. It is a tourist community with Danish themed shops and restaurants. The movie Sideways was filmed in this area.

Saw the movie Hairspray on Saturday night - loved it. John Travolta and Christopher Walken are a hoot. Saw The Simpson's movie last night, it was good...I expected to laugh a lot more though.

Today it is about 80 and we have a nice breeze. Did I tell you about the earthquake we had last Thursday? 4.5 magnitude at 12:59 A.M. I thought I was on Space Mountain!

More randomness later...time to go and eat some lunch.

Well, my DSIL called last night, just to rub it in that she had arrived at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Oh, to be 19 again and go to WDW with friends. She was going to the MK this morning.

Seacrest, that link you gave us is so neat! What a charming place! I must remember the name in case I am ever out that way. Looks like something I would love.

So have any of you read about the changes coming to MGM? Their changing the name to something like Disney Hollywood Studios. . . . And no more Stars & Cars Motor Parade after the beginning of the year. They are now having a Block Party parade. I guess they have it in Disneyland. Maybe Seacrest has seen it??? I'm pretty bummed, I loved the Stars & Cars Motor parade! I was telling DS 8 about the changes at MGM and he said - "they SO better not get rid of Rock N Roller Coaster!!" That kid is hilarious!

It is awesome to hear that you are going back WDW and now CSR!

I would recommend staying at the Ranchos 7B. Then you will be close to the really cool DIG pool area and the parking lot and bus stop to the parks is very close too.

In fact I have seen the Block Party parade and I even got some short video clips of it when I was there 2 weeks ago. I will put them together tonight and post them up. I don't normally see the Disney parades, but this time the crowds were light and we got some seats in front of the ice cream store. Fun parade, lots of dancing and acrobatic stunts with the Pixar characters. I thought it was a lot of fun. Your boys would like all the action.

I did read all the changes coming to Disney MGM. I am glad they are making the changes. The backlot tour was very, very cheesy. The only saving grace to that tour was queue with all the neat props stacked to ceiling and the water and fire show (the name slips my mind). I heard that they are putting in a Crush Roller Coaster over there. That is very popular at Disneyland Paris. I would hope they would bring over more Pixar themes into the park. I would love to see an Incredibles ride and Monsters Inc ride. The park needs more rides. It has a lot of potential to be very good park if they develop more deeply.

Tell your son not to worry about Rock and Roll Coaster, that isn't going anywhere, LOL!
