Hey everyone!

Hope eveybody had a great Christmas! DH had to go back to work today and the boys are playing with their new video games, so I am trying to clean up some of the mess!

So what did everybody get for Christmas???

Hi Shelly - thanks for the tree props.

I got jeans, pants, shirts, socks, underwear, candy, gift cards, DVDs (Oceans 11, 12 and 13), and some of my inheritance from my parents! My wife got clothes, gift cards, itunes, money, candy, soaps and body washes, and towels.

My kids got video games, Guitar Hero, Crash Bandicoot, etc. clothes, jeans, socks, underwear, t-shirts, money, itunes, and candy. We gave our son a "gag gift" - the leg lamp replica from the "Christmas Story" movie. He loves it!

We had a very nice Christmas dinner at my parents home. It was so relaxing and my MIL really enjoyed herself there too. Beyond all the gifts, it was a blessing to be with my family. I hope everyone else had a nice time with their families.

On Christmas eve, we got a package from the Walt Disney company and inside were complimentary amusement park tickets good at WDW, Anaheim, Hong Kong or Paris!!!

Since we are APers and the tickets are only good for one day admission and we aren't planning to travel to Paris or Hong Kong anytime soon, so we are going to do something special. A good friend of ours past away two days before Thanksgiving last month, leaving behind a wife and two little girls, 10 & 12. We are going to take the girls to DL with us for a day of special fun.

So, I need your help here: I want to make their day special, what should we do that is extra special that girls like - all we know is boy stuff.

Seacrest this touched my heart.. what a wonderful thought to take your friends girls to DL. What a good man you are!
10 and 12 can be a hard age, but I know High School Musical and Miley Cyrus is HUGE with girls of that age!!!!

Hey everyone... I'm glad everyone has been having a good time on the holidays. Mine was great. I was at my mothers for xmas eve and went to DMIL for Xmas day. My DD has been going crasy she finally realizes what presents are. Now whenever we go anywhere and she sees something that resembles a present she wants to open it. I got this Great picture from my DH... he also gave me perfumes and a robe buy my absolute fav was the picture... i'll take a pic and post it.

My DH family is now talking about wanting to go on a family reunion to Punta Cana again in May.... Now i'm stuck btween DIS and PC.... I hate this... i would much rather go to WDW but now the DH wants me to find out about going to PC....... I'll hate it if we do not go to WDW....

Lake - I know, it was disappointing to not have much snow to speak of on Christmas, especially when we had a ton of it only a few days before!

Mari - I sure hope you do not cancel your MAY WDW trip!

Seacrest - That is a wonderful thing that you are doing for your friend's little girls! I'm sure they will have a great time no matter what you come up with!

Mari & Sea - Sounds like you both got lots of nice Christmas presents!

I got my 10th anniversary diamonds a bit early!! DH got me a Past Present Future diamond necklace! It is beautiful! I guess he was afraid that I'd end up seeing it when we go through security at the airport in May, and he didn't want to hide it in the luggage and worry about it, so I got it early!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I have been so busy around here. Both the girls are sick. So that stinks. we had a very nice christmas. The girls got EVERYTHING they asked for and then some. I actually put half of it away and then I give it to them through the months. That way when they are bored they will have something new to open. We have 3 barbie houses. One for each floor. LOL

I changed some of my adrs for disney. My girlfriend and her family are coming the same time and it is their daughters 5th bday during the trip. ( she is also Isabelle's best friend and her sister is Meghans best friend). So we are getting together for 2 dinners one at ohana and the other one at Teppan Edo for about 13 people.

Is anyone going to go to the Pirate and Princess Party? We are going to go.Santa got the girls some new princess costumes so we will bring them. I went to the Disney store today and I am watching to see if they have any pirate stuff for dh. That should be fun.

I also have been very busy with my grandma. She was diagnosed with Dimentia. So I have looking for a nursing home for her which has been hard.

If I dont get back on before new years.

Huggie - I am sorry to hear about your grandma. It can be very hard to find a good nursing home. I wish you well in your search.

We have been busy seeing family and friends. Last night we saw my brother, his wife and their two twin 4 year olds. They are too cute!

My mom has a broken arm and I sat by her at dinner last night. I had to cut her steak for her and we joked about that I had sat as far from the kids end of the table as possible and still I had to cut somebody's food! Bless her heart, she is really having a hard time with that break.

We are going to dinner tonight. We might take the kids to a movie too. I'll have to see what DH is up for when he gets home, he had to go into work for a few hours this morning.

Haven't seen National Treasure, but did see Alvin & the Chipmunks Saturday night. It was very cute! The kids loved it!!

Huggie - How are the girls feeling? I just got back from taking DS8 to the doctor. He can't seem to shake this cough he's had for about a week now. Hopefully the medicine will get him feeling better before Wednesday when they have to go back to school.

National Treasure was a enjoyable flick. A bit long - 2 hours...but the movie did not drag out any scenes too long.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Okay, I will say that we were all asleep for it, but Happy anyway!

We just drove in last night and got home around 9 PM. I am exhausted. We were supposed to go to a friends house today to eat and watch the game but I am too tired and my pajamas feel too good.
I think I will sit around and do nothing all day.

SC was wonderful. We had to wear sweaters on Christmas Eve/Day but other than that, a long sleeve shirt was enough. Oh, how I miss that. We rode around with the sunroof open almost every day. Beautiful.

Christmas was wonderful. The kids got too much, as always. I'll post pics later.

Glad everyone is doing good. Talk to you all soon.
