Very cute!

Ok, personal question, but how do you get your feet to stop sweating? Is there anything you can put on them (thinking antiperspirant here!)....

I've had on my new Merrells all day, and my feet are sooooo sweaty! It's only in the low 70's here...can you imagine what they'll be like when the temps go up? :scared1:

I dunno!

:confused3

I'm scared about this same situation happening at WDW.....

I hadn't really thought about this yet but I probably should. :) The eccos do leave my feet sweaty and that is here in cool Seattle. Maybe bringing powder along or antiperspirant will do the trick?

It's been a pretty quiet day. I've been in meetings most of the day at work but am about to take off and start my weekend.

I am here. Just made a nice big salad for dinner. I am grilling sausage, & chicken from our local Italian deli. YUMMY!!!

Speaking of dinner- What is everyone having????

Jo- I hope you have a great time tonight!! I am celebrating with you with a nice glass of wine.   ( just for you)

I don't know yet...Fridays I usually eat out instead of bringing my dinner and I haven't decided what I want yet....I'm kind of leaning toward a southwest chicken salad right now....But who knows in 2 hours what I'll want.

We are going to go out to the 3rd St. Promenade and have dinner at Barney's Beanery.

http://www.barneysbeanery.com/#

They have a very limited menu...

Dinner tonight was hamburgers on the grill and sweet potato fries. We just got back from YDS's "family fun night" at his school. Karaoke, story telling, bingo, face painting, chair massages for parents (!!), crafts, cotton candy, popcorn and make your own ice cream sundaes. What a fun time!! This is the kick-off to T.V. Turn-Off Week.

So now we're home, and of course, I'm DIS'en!!

Have a great night, friends!!

Marcy

Seacrest

Hi girls!

I haven't been around in a while & feel VERY "out of the loop".

Can I ask, "What contest?"

**BTW, 3 weeks from tonight my family checks into POP, just for one night until we switch over to SSR the next day!!) :cool1:

Hiya Mayers!

WHOO HOO Seacrest, you sleeve sniffer, you! :woohoo: Barney's has a 12 page menu??? Looks like a blast, though...next time we go down to DL, we will try to make a stop there -- maybe our first night. Is Chris and Pitts still good? Used to go to the one on Artesia Boulevard when I was a little girl, and it was fabulous BBQ... How long have you lived in So Cal?

I bought some Croc Mary Janes, and have Crocs on the way for DH (not Mary Janes ), and I decided to try a pair of Tevas that look cute but no clue how they will feel  I should know better than to buy shoes online because I'm all about the comfort, and really should try them on. Ah well...hopefully they will be comfy. As for sweaty feet, I would think that spray antiperspirant might work, maybe the powder dry kind of stuff. Or they might have stuff just for tootsies in the Dr. Scholl's section.

Bought some of our first aid stuff -- Band-Aid blister thingies, moleskin, Neosporin -- I'm going to get that bag packed tonight.

I need more Capris -- I DON'T wear shorts :sad2: because I burn so bad (and I'll spare the other guests from the unattractive blinding white sight :cool2: :lmao: Gotta take my son to look for some shoes and jeans for him (not for WDW, just for school), so maybe I look for some stuff for me, too.

Dinner tonight is lasagne, hope it comes out good, never really know until it's done...

Hi Katie!

Well, tonight our plans changed and the boys dump us. So it was the two of us and we decided to go to Rosti, a Tuscan restaurant.

http://www.rostituscankitchen.com/

We both had the roasted chicken with veggies and garlic mashed potatoes.

Chris and Pitts - now that is a name from the past. I have live in SoCal all my life. They used to have a lot of restaurants in the area, but now there are only 5 stores listed on their web site:

http://www.chrisandpittsbbqrestaurants.com

From what I recall, the taste of the BBQ was a bit ketchupy. I remember lthe sawdust floors and the BBQ sandwiches. My parents used to take us there quite a bit. I know my dad use to BBQ with their sauce at home. I don't know if they still sell it in the stores around here anymore.

Now that you have mention the restaurant, I am going to have to visit one soon and see what it is like, take some pics and give you a review. LOL!

I loooooooove good BBQ, and that place used to be fantastic. But ya know, places change. I always went to the one on Artesia (close to my old neighborhood -- I grew up in Bellflower/Lakewood, and worked at Cerritos Mall when I was in high school). But every time we go to DL, I'm tempted to check out the one on Euclid in Anaheim. Couple of my other favorites from when I was a kid seem to be long gone history -- Salvatore's, Midnight Sun Smorgasbord, and La Fiesta and Mexico City for Mexican food...yummy... Rosti's menu looks wonderful!

Our lasagne was good tonight, if a bit plain. I like to put veggies in it, mushrooms, zucchini, sometimes a little spinach -- but DS16 doesn't like that, so I keep it pretty pedestrian when he has dinner with us.
