What is the first park you are going to?

and what is the first ride you are headed to?

Epcot is the first park we are going to hit. As to the first ride, we'll head to France and the Grey Goose Lemon Slurpee Express - Chugga Chugga Yum Yum!

Seriously, we'll probably go to Test Track or Mission Space. We aren't huge Soarin' fans (or at least aren't fans of the DCA version which I understand is pretty much the same as the Epcot version).

First night we are going to MK...i don't know what we will head to first....

And now for my acceptance speech!

I would like to thank the MAYers for being soo crazy-gung-ho about getting post counts up and the pages of this thread up, that they have assisted me in reaching this life long goal :)

And now ladies and gentlman:

POST 20,000 will say:

IS IT MAY YET?!?!?!?

Let me be the first to say CONGRATULATIONS ON 20,000 POSTS!

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

You haven't heard the last of him...trust me on this one.

He will out do William Hung.

Oh I figured we are not done with the Sanjaya. But at least he is off the show. I wouldn't be surprised if folks from Ballywood haven't tried to contact him and such. If I understand, he's under contract to the AI franchise for the next year or so and then he can do his own thing. I think that is how their deals go.

hiya Mayers! :goodvibes

Michelle, sounds like your dad is doing fantastic! I had horrible morning-noon-night sickness, particularly with my oldest :crazy2: One thing that might soothe your tummy is ginger ale (ginger helps nausea)...cold might help, or if that doesn't work, you can actually drink it hot. I know that sounds weird, but it can sometimes settle your tummy! DH and DS swear by it, it sometimes works for me, might be worth a try.

Jo, I've seen you writing about your party plans, but what kind of party is it exactly? I missed that! Celebrities there -- sounds like quite an event :smooth:

Whoo hoo Shelly for 500! :woohoo:

Tasmen -- I LOVE the basket, would love to get one with a Stitch theme for DH. Was it really expensive? :scared: It looked like from her website it was $25 + the cost of the items...

Alright, house is a mess so duty calls. Wish I could just :wizard: :tink: :genie: pixiedust: and it would be all beautiful and sparkly clean! But no, gotta do it the hard way. Where's that darn monkey maid when I need him?

Oh, and on the 19th next month, I too will be coming home :sad1: But to try to squeeze in just a tiny bit more magic, we will do our check out at about 7:15, then we have breakfast reservations early at CP (8:05), and should be IN MK when it opens at 9:00! We can play and say goodbye to WDW for about 2 hours I think, before needing to catch the bus back to the Pop to get on the ME.

JC, congrats on being a teenage Mayer! Funny, it seems like we are all getting younger as our trip date approaches... :rotfl2:

And Michelle....WOW on 20,000!!! Way to go! :cheer2: :cool1:  :yay:

It was around $73 or so. The $25 fee scared me off at first but then I figured: 'Hey, it's our anniversary and I like to see the DH smile and turn into a puddle of fanboi giddiness so what the hey'. Sarah has been really good about working with me to figure out what would be best for the basket on the budget I had to spend. She does do cheaper baskets I believe. You could also check out http://www.disneyflorist.com. I know a lot of people on the boards have used their service and been pretty happy too.

This is kind of our plan :) we are packing and checking in our luggage at bell services in the AM and plan to be at MK at opening too :yay: but our flight is not until 845PM, so we will be there a good chunk of the day.

I saw the ones on Disney Florist, but since you recommend Sarah so highly :goodvibes and her service seems much more personalized, I think I'll contact her. I might have one made up for my sister's room, too -- she and her family will be arriving a few days after us.

Hey, it sounds like you and DH are going alone too? No kidlings on the trip? Mine are all grown, except DS16, and we told him maybe we can take him the summer after graduation in a couple of years. We just took him to DL for Spring Break last year (a madhouse, but he loved it, and was a real trooper).

Our flight is 3:20 pm because we have to fly all the way across the country, and then poor DH has only Sunday to recuperate, and be back to work Monday morning :faint: Since this is our first visit ever, and we have so little time, we have a LOT on our schedule -- yay commando style! But he will be one exhausted puppy that next week, I bet. I was able to get the whole next week off work...

I did some of my Disney pharmacy shopping. I don't want to get stuck buying a $20 tube of neosporin while there.

OK, this is from way back in the thread, but I need advice from experienced WDW travelers...what things do I need to bring that I may not think of?

I already know:
Body Glide (to prevent blisters on my toesies)
moleskin and Band-aid Blister block (same reason)
always take a small first aid kit w/Neosporin, etc
sunblock (an absolute MUST for me)

So...what other things might I forget?

I'm not sure if I should hug you, punch you or Thank You! :rotfl2: Loved that basket and because I can't find out the Sekkrit... I ordered one for the Grandson...Sarah is very nice and so easy to work with...I asked her to keep it around $75.00 with fees. She will work within the budget you give her...So I guess I should just say thank you..:) I know DGS will love it...we did Star Wars.

Excuse me, please clarify. This isn't what you really mean? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Going_commando

Our children are the furry and meowy kind. I don't think the mouse would like us dragging along some kitties in mesh covered cat strollers (they do exist and let me tell ya, I've been tempted to buy one for giggles).

This is also sort of a last hurrah type of trip before we board the baby making train.

So...what other things might I forget?

I am pretty much bringing anything I can think we would need.

Regular band aids
Blister block band aids
body glide
Aleve & Tylenol
Immodium AD (in case a case of explosive 'I so should not have eaten that' strikes)
Tums (see above)
eye drops
neosporin
sunscreen
hand sanitizer
Airbourne

So far that's my list. But I'm sure I'll add more as we near the date.
