No Mother's Day brunch for us. We're doing dinner at Le Cellier. It's my Mom's birthday, and that's really where she wanted to eat. I'm glad I was able to get an ADR...I called right on my 180 day, and they only had a 4:10 and an 8:30 available! Then they are closed for the rest of the week!

Thanks for the encouragement, Sulleyfan! I'm gonna do it.....tomorrow!!!:lmao:

Time for bed! Good night my little Maybuds!

I'm sure you'll make it tomorrow...just like the little engine that could..."I think I can, I think I can..." :goodvibes

I had my 20- ahem- a year ago...I didn't go though...there wasn't anyone I really wanted to see. (although, I did graduate from high school with Daniel Kim, who is the Korean guy on Lost. If I had known for sure he'd be there, I would have gone. But he didn't show up either)

Speaking of Spanx, have you tried Assets from Target? I believe they are made by the same company as Spanx, but they are under the Assets name at Target. I've purchased the full length hose and they rock!

And Jo, I wouldn't mind a little nip and tuck myself! I'd love to shrink my behind!!

Marcy, we are both class of 86ers! I didn't know Target had a line of that stuff. That is some powerful information girlfriend.

Class of 1986....seems like just yesterday, doesn't it??:lmao: My almost 12 year old DS likes to inform me that I'm old.:confused3 I'm not old! I'm not old! (repeat over and over!!):goodvibes

Are you 39 or turning 39 soon? I'll be celebrating the 9th anniversary of my 30th birthday on June 20. (of course, I don't look a day over 21!... )

Marcy

Hey Marcy!

My ds12 says I am old too. He told me when he was in the 4th grade that of all the moms in his grade (not just his class) that I look the oldest! Believe me, he has lived to regret that statement. :rolleyes1 I had always told him to tell people who ask him my age that I am 29! Well, a couple of months ago, our tennis pro asked him how old I was. He told the pro that I am 32. He said you know mom, I am 12, it just doesn't sound so good for you to be 29 anymore so I changed it to 32!

When I really know that I am old is when I have a load of kids in the old SUV and noise give me a :headache: .

Marcy, you are just a baby! Only 38! Girl, I am looking at the big 40 this year. But if anyone ask, I am only 32. :ssst:

good morning mayers!
i see that i have been missing A lot Lately!
The closer we get to the trip the less time I am finding to spend with all of you. So much to do.
Yard work, contractor meetings, t-ball 2 nights a week, and toilet training DD. I need this vaction.

MAY is almost here.... .YAAY for our vacations....

Can I ask a question of the day?

What do you carry into the parks with you? My kids are older 9 1/2 and almost 7. I am trying to downsize but worried I will need something and not have it on me. Here is my list please add to it or tell me to take things off of it.

1. inhaler and spacer
2. sunblock wipes
3. camera
4. band aides
5. change of clothes for them. Am I crazy will they really get soaked? cant they just drip dry?:rotfl:
6. medicine
7. money for the pressed penny machine
8. autograph books

We carry disposable rain ponchos rather than a change of clothes. They are very small and easy to carry. The ride you really get soaked on is Kali. You get wet on Splash but not soaked, IMHO.

Ink pens for autograph book.

Sunglasses and hats or visors.

Maybe you could leave the change of clothes only for waterparks because other theme parks have limited water attractions.
