I have such a huge place in my heart for the elderly. I loved all of my older patients when I was a nurse. They were (mostly) all so gentle and sweet.

It's awful how our bodies betray us.

How is the smoke and fire out there today? gosh- I remember so well all of the posts you gave us last year. Oh, remember you gave us a video of the pier, I think. Wow.

i'm really not stressed anymore - just kinda tired - i think i'm just numb

i found out it's supposed to rain on saturday but, even that didn't really bug me.... there's nothing that i can do about it so... no sense freaking... so you know i'm tired

The day I got married it was supposed to Monsoon. It had rained 3 days straight before my wedding date, so anyway in the morning it has sprinkled and all of a sudden the sun came out and stayed out and no rain until midnight.

It was so cool. So dont worry. You will be fine. Also some rain is good luck.

i'm excited - but is it normal that nothing has really sunk in yet? i know that i am getting married in 4 days and going to disney in 6 - but i don't know ... it's not really real yet?

did you guys feel that way at all?

also, i shipped our stuff down to the resort today from my dad's company

shampoo, cond, deod, detergent, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash etc... and bob took our BIG monster suitcase into work today to put it on the ups scale so it's accurate for the airport.... and i'm underweight - first time ever!!! i still have 10 lbs of crap i can stuff in there

I didnt feel like I was married even on my honeymoon. It takes a while to sink in.

I have this syndrome. I NEVER feel like something is going to happen until it happens.

And then after it happens, I can't believe it happened or that it's over.

It takes awhile to get used to the just married thing and if you change your last name. Holy cow! It took my longest time to be able to sign a check with my new last name. I voided no telling how many checks because I signed my maiden name.

I wasn't exactly sure how to go about doing it- so I called and the reservationist had me giggling b/c I told her it ws only for $52 and she said "girl! that is a lot of money! You can buy shoes with that, girl!"

yesterday I called WDW to pay the balance off- and the CM talked to me for 45 MINUTES.

About anything and everything- wanted to know where we've stayed before- where we've eaten, have we eaten here, done this show, asked my opinion on some things... blah blah blah. Like we were long lost buds or something. When I got off, Mary C thought I had been talking to one of you guys!!!!!

I was going to tell you yesterday, but I didn't want to make Shelly envious b/c we ALL know her run-in's with CM's and how they go down, LOL.
