Oh good grief-
Good Morning my little MAYers-:snooty:

Yesterday I was SO dang busy! Belle had a play at school and it lasted almost two hours- eek!

And between getting three kids off to school all at different times throughout the day, and then them coming home from school, all at different times, and then the play and the grocery shopping and the cooking...WHEW! I am a tired MAYer, who isn't really a MAYer this year, but will always be a MAYer.:goodvibes

Can you tell that I am back on the steroid??????

It really makes me loopy and then when I drink coffee, it affects me crazy. Um, I've had two cups so far...:rotfl:
Everyone in Pittsburgh better look out...Jo's on the road again!:drive:

Hey speaking of Pittsburgh-
welcome to our new friend, Rus!:wave2:
I am in Cranberry, but before this nice place, I was in Fox Chapel for 6 months. Before there, we lived in Arkansas, before that, we were in Rochester, NY but I am originally from Charleston., SC and I am getting used to this Pittsburgh way of life.:goodvibes
I have no clue where Shaler is and I went to that golf tournament this past summer in Oakmont, but I know nothing about golf, other than we saw Tiger Woods.
Anyway- I hope you enjoy POR. We stayed last May at POFQ and LOVED it. I walked over every morning to POR while my Dh did his 1 hour run and I thought it was beautiful. It is a bit big, but it is beautiful. Did you choose the mansions side or Alligator Bayou? AB is a bit more secluded, the mansions are out in the open. You will see all kinds of wildlife there and enjoy the boat ride to DTD.
Welcome again. Ask us any questions you want- we'd be happy to help.:goodvibes

Sulley- awesome pics!!!!! I know it was an awesome sight to behold. Thanks for posting.

Sea- not long now and you will be cruising away! Loved your pics of your
D Store- ours is a bit... plain. I have noticed, however, that everything out your way is cool- even your gas station pic made me say "wow, cool gas station". :rotfl: I am deprived, LOL.

Huggie, Mari, Shelly-
woo-hoo! My jealousy is rrrrreeeeaaaaalllllyyyyyyy getting the best of me now...
Would any of y'all like to send me a post card while you're gone????:flower3: :lmao: Please???:flower3:

DMM- any news???

NC- hows your weather? Mark and I were talking aboout Bentonville the other day. We miss it. A LOT. Send some of your warmer air this way, please.

Okay, Belle is up. She has been left with a nasty cough and coughed all night long, so she slept in a bit.

I'll be in and out all day, MAYers.

Have a Blessed Day!
:grouphug:

I didn't have a chance to make it this weekend. But i'm going today to the store to buy the ingredients to make it tommorow night when i get home from work. I can't wait to try it. Yummy in my tummy.

Good morning! :goodvibes

Busy morning with meetings and stuff at the school.

MAYers ~ I can't believe our countdown is into the 50's!!! That is so awesome! I found out today that one of the other girls from the PTO is also going May 10-15 (Beach Club) then May 15-17 Disney Cruise!! Lucky her!! :cool1: Plus one of DH's co-workers is going I think May 14-18 or something like that. It is going to be weird to see so many people we know!!

I am most looking forward to seeing my MAYer friends though!!! :snooty:

JO - You just MAY be getting a postcard in MAY!!! :goodvibes :rotfl:

Hey Huggie!

Hey Shelly!

I am bouncing off the walls...

the heck with uppers, give Jo a steroid, and watch her go...!:lmao:

Mari- I keep forgetting to tell you that you are going to love the freedom that having a car on site brings!
we drive everywhere- even to the parks! It's nice b/c in the mornings when everyone is waiting for the buses, you're driving off and then at night, when everyone is tired and cranky and bothered b/c people are looking at them and standing too close to them... (Um, that would be me, I am referring to, NOT my kids, LOL) you don't have to deal with crowds- hop into the car and zoom, zoom! It is so nice to be able to sit and drive off to your hotel, rather than stand.:goodvibes Our kids get so sleepy on the way back, we tote them up to the rooms, turn on a hot shower for them, dunk 'em and off to dreamland. It's so fast and relaxing.
As far as if you need something from a grocery store- Publix is very close by and you can pop in whenever you need to.
I think you will love having a car at your disposal.

We got a full size SUV for 9 days for $268, which, Ithink, is an awesome deal!

Jo

Hi all!

Lot's of fog this morning - but it is already starting to burn off. Suppose to get up to about 71 today.

Jo: We can board the ship anytime after 12 noon on Saturday. The ship leaves LA at 4:30. We are going to leave our home around 10:30ish and stop at In-n-Out Burger to get a bite to eat. It is a strange tradition we have, we usually eat their last if go out of town and go back there when we first get home. I confess, it is very addicting food. Many Californians have the same addiction, and the stores are super busy. Here is an article about it today in the LA Times:

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-burger13mar13,1,5132512.story

The INO store in this picture is near my home, about 4 miles away and yes, there is almost aways a line that long.

Shelly: Congrats on being in the 50's!!!

CK, Huggie, RF, NC: HI!!! :cool1:

Jo, I have to agree with you, if you can get a car, you can get around really easy at WDW. If you are staying at one of the WDW resorts, you are given a parking pass at check in. You can park at any WDW theme with no additional charge, plus visit any other WDW resort. It was really nice to be able to bounce around and see a few of the other resorts and get over to DTD a few times and some mini golf at Fantasia Gardens in the evening. We also ventured out of the resort to have some dinners and picked up stuff at Walgreens, etc. It was nice to have that freedom - plus we helped eliminate some of those nasty love bugs from the insect population. I will have to post a picture of the grill of our car later on. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh Sea you just reminded me about the lovebugs! :lmao: Last year on our first day we were at the bus stop and DS8 shouts out - HEY LOOK AT THE 2-HEADED BUGS!!! :rotfl: Everybody was laughing!

Jo - Thanks.... i'm paying 175 for 7 days i think that is a good price. I'm excited about vacation anyway so having the luxury to come and go as i please is a added feature.
