Great news Jen! The passport I mean, not the investigation. :lmao:

Padalyn, I just called GC and they don't have a service from LB only LAX, but she recommened Super Shuttle $33 PP 1-800-200-6655.

Wow, crossed off so much on my list of todo's that I'm actually condensing to a smaller list!!:cool1:

Thanks Kelly - I booked it with Super Shuttle - 90 for round trip for 3. all set...that trip is almost completely done now. Just waiting to find out which day we are going to Club 33. We are so psyched about that one!!

The next piece of stuff I have to get to is the pin event in Sept. Have to register before we leave.

Oh yea - the airfare for the Adventures By Disney Imperial Cities...geez...I am headed all over the world this year - next year I will have to be a home body (Just to pay for all of this!!)

My To Do list seems to grow and shrink - just about the time I think I have it almost done more seems to appear...now I am SO glad someone posted about the mother's day cards. I have to send flowers to mom and grams (she is 101 and LOVES her flowers!!)

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOPHIA'S PASSPORT CAME IN THE MAIL!!!!!

I DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE MY DAUGHTER BEHIND!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Thank you Congressman Tom Feeney getting the Fed's off their butts...

(though he may not be "congressman" for long, he's being investigated for traveling on lobbyists $$$) oops!

:cool1: :cool1:    :cool1: :cool1:

   So glad you got that worked out.

:confused3 Are most people already at WDW? I can't remember the last time I saw an evening with this few posts. And it's not even Friday!

I am actually fighting an ear infection, too....last week when I got sick I had a NASTY ear infection in my right ear (literally.....like it was really painful so I went to my doctor and when the P.A. looked in my left ear, she said..."looks ok" and when she looked in my right ear she reflexively said "OUCH! EW!" and stepped back, "Yeah I can see how that would hurt!!" :rotfl2: ) Anyhow I've been on antibiotics now for 9 days....my prescription runs out tomorrow but my ear still doesn't feel 100%....it's less painful but still feels "full" kind of like it won't pop or something....I am thinking of going back tothe doctor later today or tomorrow just to have them look because I don't want to stop the meds tmw and then over the weekend while I"m in WDW have the infection flare back up and become painful again!!

:tigger:
Erik
Poor Erik, I have had ear infections since I was a baby....mostly allergies.

Patrick has a very sore ingrown toenail that became infected and we've been soaking his foot, icing it down, making him go with out socks, etc. I think it's better, but if not healed by Monday he's going to the doctor!

Yikes. Poor Patrick, I know those really hurt. I hope it heals up nice;y this weekend and the doctor is not needed. But certainly best to treat everything that may need treated before we are all in the middle of the Atlantic.

Oh, yeah, I am bringing a complete pharmacy with me too! I got stuff for almost anything! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I will be happy to pick you up and take you to the Walmart or anywhere you need to go. I live near the Airport, and it would be so easy for me. If the kids are tired, and need to rest after dinner, your husband could stay and let them rest up, and I could take you..

Really, it would be no problem for me at all. Connie

Connie,

That would be so awesome. I feel bad though becuase I am sure you will be busy that night before the cruise. If it really is ok with you that would be great. I have no idea where to go so it would make it so much easier for me to have someone who knows what they are doing.

THANK YOU!

Honestly if it is a problem at all let me know. I do not want to get in the way of your vacation planning/packing.

Thanks,
Stephanie

No problem, I'll be happy to help. I pm'd you. Now I am heaading to bed, got to work at 8am tomorrow! nighty night:dance3:

Ok tomorrow is the last out of office meeting I have to go to. After that it is all my normal work location (6 miles from home) so it is easy cheesy peasy and no freaking traffic to deal with.

Last of the laundry tomorrow and then Friday is dinner and facial night with my daughter and Saturday & Sunday is packing. Hopefully I will be 96% done by Sunday afternoon and we can take in a movie.

Good night all and I hope everyone has had safe journeys so far!!

Ok, I think I may be missing something. After I get to Florida, I was planning on picking up a bottle of wine or a small champagne for myself and martinelli's for the kids. In CA I can get pretty much anything from a grocery store, but in WA you have to go to a state run liquor store. Is Florida like CA or WA? :confused3

In case no one has answered yet: FL is NOT like OR/WA = no state-run liquor stores. There are commercial liquor stores, and many drug stores have liquor stores attached. Wine & beer in the grocery stores.
The Florida Mall is about 5 miles from the airport http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=139
According to the web there is a liquor store 3 miles from the mall.
If anyone is desperate, I or one of the (closer) locals would probably be more than willing to give a ride/make a run/etc. I'll be in the area Friday afternoon (5/11), so let me know if I can help.

Hey all....quick post about my ear. Thanks for all the concern. My doctor, who I spoke to today, seems pretty convinced the infection is gone and any fluid left is residual from my headcold, etc. and needs to just dissipate on its own and get "re-absorbed." She insisted I definitely do NOT need to take a longer course of antibiotics or a new script. She recommended that I complete my course of antibiotics (Augmentin twice a day) and that would leave antibiotices in my system for more than enough time to completely clear the infection and that I should then just use Asrpin nasal spray (which someone else here had recommended) 3 times a day for up to 5 days and it should be fine. I'm going to trust her and hope for the best! :)

Yea!!! That is awesome news!!!!

Just waiting to find out which day we are going to Club 33. We are so psyched about that one!!
I have to send flowers to mom and grams (she is 101 and LOVES her flowers!!)
OMG you are going to Club 33? That is so fantastic! Can I be your friend?

It is perfect that you are sending flowers to 101 grams and mom. They'll both love it. DH was supposed to visit Gma in Pittsburgh for Mother's day (since I will be on the cruise!). You've reminded me I need to cancel his ticket.:sad1:

:wizard: :wizard: for Patrick's toe to heal quickly!

Oh, yeah, I am bringing a complete pharmacy with me too! I got stuff for almost anything! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Me too! I packed the "medicine" bag this afternoon and will head to the pharmacy tomorrow morning to get the missing stuff - seriously low on the Bonine for DD13 and myself. We get dizzy if you corner in a parking lot too fast!

Hi everyone,
Doin' the single digit dance!!!
 :cheer2:  :cheer2:

party: party: :hyper: :hyper:
Me Tooooo!!!! Definitely hyper today!!

Thanks for the info. We fly in right before 5pm. I am debating trying to make a stocking up run in Orlando and then head to Cocoa Beach or get to Cocoa Beach and then shop there or Merritt Island? :confused3 I am leaning toward shopping in the port area, just because then I am not trying to find the hotel in the dark. I am not getting a lot stuff, just liquids that can't fly: Sparkling cider for the kids, maybe a bottle of champagne or wine for me, ginger ale, bottled water, etc.

I am officially freaking out excited today! I am single digitsparty: :dancer: :jumping1: I have the biggest suitcase packed and zipped up - 44 lbs:thumbsup2 I think it has finally hit me that this cruise is REAL and I'm ON IT!!!

DSIL is a special ed teacher for a seriously autistic class (3-6 year old). One of her students was at DL last week. After they exited a ride they were asked if they wanted a prize and handed an envelope. it is our cruise for a family of 4!!! I got these via DH so he is vague on details. I called DSIL and left a message that she should send the family this way because we are such a nice group of people and really don't bite even:rotfl2: . They are a family of 5 so are upgrading, but how awesome is that!? Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about Disney!

Hey another Riversider!!! We will be there from Saturday yay!!!!

In August when we spent time at WDW and Universal, DS8, then 7, brought along the new chain we had bought for the dog. We now have a well traveled dog chain. :rotfl2:

Well, off to pick up the docs for Riverside stay before the cruise. Hopefully I won't think of anything else that I need while I'm out.

Lori

Guys

This is probably my last message now as Im off to my Mums tomorrow and then we are flying to Orlando Saturday morning.

So all of you see you soon.

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
