Me too! Just booked my hotel in Paris. Just need our one way's from Newark to Orlando and we will be all set! Best I can do is $99 per person. I'm not sure if I should book them or not. If I wait for a better price, the price will only go up. If I book now, the price will go down... that always happens to me...

It's getting close now. I hope everyone has their excursions picked, Palo times planned and keyboards ready to go. Just a few more days until R Day (reservation day). :surfweb:

For those who bought t-shirts and received them; how do they fit? True to size? A little small/big? I'm looking at the regular Ladies tee, and the men's tee. Maybe the ladies tank top to wear by the pool....

Trying to decide what size to buy....

Being a 2 week cruise can you do Palos more than once?

The online reservation system will probably only let you book one reservation. You will have to talk to the Palo people once you are onboard for more reservations. On the May 2005 PC cruise, I know several people that had a number of Palo dinners.

Woo Hoo! My mother called to do the final payment and rechecked the price and now our cruise is costing $1500 less!

We're taking part of the extra money and book more Palo meals. Our party has 2 rooms, so 2 dinners, 2 brunches and my Mom and I are going to do the High Tea once.

And I got DH and my airfare to/from Orlando on Southwest yesterday when the booking window FINALLY opened. Thankfully I was able to snag $79 OW tickets (although not at the exact time we wanted) but today it was up to $169 OW. :scared1:

Who did you call to get the price? Yuor TA or DCL directly? My TA's website still shows the same price and they don't show the military discounts..:confused3

My mother is a CM, so this is a CM discount through Disney. I think they changed the base fare when the 2008 cruises came out (someone else posted that their price dropped). So when she called to make payment, she first asked what the current price was (before saying why she was really calling). When she got a cheaper price, she told them about the existing reservation and asked if she could get the new price, and they rebooked it for her. So if you have an older reservation, it might be worth seeing what the price of booking today is.

Anyone know when the group brunch is at Palos? I don't want to book the same day and end up missing one!

DCL will not confirm the date of the Palo's Brunch until approximately 25 days before sailing. The Magic gives them the available schedule at 30 days out after the ship decides what, if anything, they are keeping for their own use.

okay...all paid up today! ( i believe in procrastination!)....i think there are some others joining our cruise with the lower prices...i was very happy to see the prices drop after jan 31!!!!!

so who's bring the starbucks tonight!!!!!?????

okay...i know i am late in the game but when are we getting off the boat on the 26th? most flights back to the states leave between 7am and 10am...are we going to have any chance of making these flights???? :confused3

We're getting off the boat early in the morning.....but our TA and DCL are still not recommending flights before 11am. Our flight is at 11:40am on AerLingus that day and routes through Dublin.

We're literally counting the hours to book our excursions....but we were planning on not booking Palo dinners until we were aboard and could see for sure what the theme and formal/semi-formal dinners are scheduled for. Do you think that's a bad idea? Should we make a decision about Palo and book it now? And we've never been a on a DCL cruise that had a Palo brunch. Keeping in mind that neither Jason nor I drink (so champagne isn't a draw for us), is it something we should be trying to do? Do they offer it often enough during the cruise that we could get a seat if we book aboard? Or do we need to book it for one of the days and sea (the brunches are only available on those days, right?)?

:tigger:

Erik

Who's gonna be up at 3am with me???!!!!

I'm there!!!!!
I want Palo brunch; I've never been able to book it.:(

Erik - definitely book brunch. I like champagne but the food is fabulous and the presentation is unreal. I've even taken pictures of the food. I am definitely up tonight at 3 a.m. to make my reservations. We couldn't get brunch on the PC western repo only dinner so I don't know how hard it will be to book onboard this repo. It really doesn't seem like the ship is very full since they are lowering prices and giving CM discounts so you might be able to wait. I'm going to book at 3 a.m. then change onboard if I need to. :cool1: :cool1:
