CACruisin do you have the deluxe pass too? Anyone else available that week to meet? That would be fun. :woohoo:

Our passes are blacked out then too. We are in town though, so a meet would be fun.

Susie, re gift exchange, I recall deciding if it were to be done to keep it small and simple, dur to airline weight restrictions.

Hey Debbie, on the Roster you could change us to Cheyenne, WY, whenever you get the chance.

I still want to know what the Off-Kilter Stage is? Pin trading something??

How many of us are on the back to back cruises?

Andy and I are, as are our dining table mates from the westbound Panama cruise and several others. (This is our first back-to-back.)

We (Ken and Shari) and the first timers (Alex and Carolyn) are doing the back to back!!! Can you believe it - 25 days on the Magic.

151 days left fot us!
Must be nice to be able to cruise for so long. We are lucky to be doing the 2 weeks, I'm sure you will all have a great time! Does anyone know what the weather will be like crossing the Atlantic? You would think that the end of May would be warm but I heard that it will probably be cool.

Yeah....I agree with gydell. If it wasn't for all the holiday cheer making me so nice and pleasant....I'd be forced to hate all of you lucky enough to be doing back to back cruises!! :thumbsup2 but in the spirit of the season I'll let it slide....THIS time! :lmao:

Actually I have to agree...we did toss around the idea that gifts and goodies should be small and/or light and/or disposable---meaning something fun for the cruise itself or a single event on the cruise...but not necessarily something that needs to come home on that long, expensive, and weight/space-restricted flight back from Europe!!!! .........of course in saying so I make it sound like I've actually even given a second's thought to getting or making such gifts...which is a TOTAL lie because I've been SOOO busy lately that it's all I can do to remember we're TAKING this cruise....much less do any other specific planning and preparation for it!! hehehe....but we'll see if I can't figure something fun out before we go.

I'm also still waiting for baited breath to hear even a PEEP about excursions, themes, schedules, announcements!!! WHEN WHEN WHEN will Santa grant that wish for me?!?!?!

Also for those of you who remember WAAAAAY back to the early days of this thread we talked about this before....but Jason and I just got back from a trip to our neighbors in the north with some friends to Toronto where we went shopping and also saw "Wicked" again....fun fun FUN!

Good Evening All.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Here, we are just trying to get used to the cooler temps. Today it was about 35° cooler than when we left florida. Eventhough we had a great time there, it is good to be home.

With Christmas in 2 weeks, things will be exciting around here. Finishing up shopping and holiday get togethers. Then new years. After that it will be a long 5 1/2 months until the transatlantic cruise. We will make it thru o.k.

Everyone have a great week. Be good, cause Santa is watching. :teeth:

Hi All,
It's very quiet (everyone's asleep) with the Christmas tree twinkling and very calming rain here and yet I can hear the DL fireworks in the distance (15 minutes away) - strange since they cancel for rain, so it must not be raining there. We've had some pretty heavy wind here for several weeks (santa ana winds) so we haven't heard the fireworks in awhile (its a fire danger.) As of today the weather on Wednesday will be 77 and windy for those of us going to DL to see Santa. :sunny:

It's nice to see so many of us on the BB and those of you who aren't doing both trips, start planning for next year. If the boat comes back here I want you meeting us at DL! We started booking our lectures for the 2007-2008 school year and have blocked that time off hoping it will come again.

Erik, I can't believe my tickets for Wicked are 3 months after we return from the big trip. It's a life time away.

150 days tomorrow - I can't believe what a magic number that seems like to me. :grouphug:

Very busy here moving in, should close on the Jackson house on 12/13. That will be nice for sure. We are basically living out of boxes as we unpack slowly but surely. Lynn is doing a great job getting it all together. Old house had a very large pantry and this house has none. Add to that getting ready for Christmas, shortest week at work so far has been 54 hours. Still getting addresses changed, Sat dish moved, and so it goes, we will get it together by next year. We did manage to get up a Christmas tree, and some lights. Cheapo me, I will measure for the lights we need and buy them the day after Christmas at Wally World, when they are on sale. LOL

High speed DSL is great, Thanks Kelli for getting it together for us.

Peter I know I owe you some pics, but figure you are too busy at WDW. Will have to have Lynn remind me.

Missed the Samantha Brown, Barcelona episodes, will try to catch them next time.

Have a great week kiddies, it’s a Jungle out there.

Milestogo----how funny that Wicked isn't until after we get back! By then we will already have seen it at least once more because I'm pretty sure my friend wants to see the show in NYC in February when I'm there for work. (Anna Gasteyer of Saturday Night Live fame and Carol Kane from The Princess Bride are in the show on broadway right now). I'm an addict...I admit it...if you write a curriculum on breaking the broadway habit anytime soon....let me know. I'm sure Jason would sign me up! :lmao:

Hi All,

At 9pm it was a misty, drizzly kinda rain, but no wind. After lunch yesterday DD11 and I decided to go to DL for the afternoon/evening. Parked at the top of the parking structure in the back - park was very crowded! We had a good time -running to all the big rides, mostly. Managed to get a walk in at BB too around 4pm. Did see the Christmas Parade - very nice. Started to drizzle about 7:30? We were standing in line for Space Mountain and It's a Small World. Decided we didn't want to hang out in the rain for fireworks that may or may not happen and left the park right before nine.

Looking forward to Wednesday!

Anna Gasteyer and Carol Kane -- wow, I love both of them, but I really love Anna! While I know this addiction, I understand this addicition... I'm afraid I'd be unqualified to teach it... as I'd turn it into a "how to" class! :rotfl2:

A while back I mentioned about our company was downsizing and that I had asked to be layed off (in order to pursue my new career directions). Well it happened a little sooner than we expected. My last day of work will be January 2nd. At least they are paying us through the holidays and I will get a couple of months of severence.

Curt managed to survive the first round of layoffs. We will be taking a hard look at our finances this next month. Hopefully we'll still be able to stay on this cruise.

I don't start tour director school until the first part of February, so it looks like I will have a little bit of free time in January. Maybe I'll make a trip or two to DL. We just renewed our annual passes, so that is already paid for.

This must be the time for layoffs! We find out on the 18th if my DH is going to be laid off. What a great Christmas present to all that do get laid off.
