just checking this thread out - is this where the 14day eastbound repo cruisers are hanging out? I am just not up to reading some 600 posts to find out.

I am booked on the 14 day and am hoping to meet some people from this board! I have cruised DCL 5 times so far and have the 2006 DVC and the 14 and the first 11 day booked (I do love cruising!)

Do I have the right thread?

Welcome Padalyn! This is going to be a great cruise.

Saffron is a great idea. I'm not a big shopper, but I like to get small, unique things from the places we visit. Many years ago (+20) when I was in Spain, Yladro was very plentiful and inexpensive. Also, I remember lace items. I was not on the coast though, just Madrid, northern parts (Segovia), and near Portugual. What I remember most about Spain was the club hopping that didn't even start until nearly midnight - oh, to be young again!

Hey EpcotKilterFan - I was on the Westbound Panama cruise and the Eastbound Med (next year) is already booked. with all these Repo cruises one has to give them names I guess!

I posted the menus from the Panama cruise on another thread because a bunch of people asked for them. I hope to collect the menus again, but don't know if that is possible or not.

I just spent an enormous amount of time reading all the European excursions from Princess cruises. It's looks like a lot of fun, esp. the ones with food!

Has anyone else done some of the excursions on another cruise?

Thank you for the warm welcome - I am sure that we will not be the only "family" onboard - maybe we should set up a meet & greet thing...it might be fun. My partner is not making the crossing but is joining me for the second cruise (the 11 day) I am doing them back to back.

Padalyn, I am sure we will have tons of meets and greets. We will probably do a wine and cheese meet the night before the cruise at a WDW DVC property.

I would be interested in that - since I most likely will come down to WDW the night before. My boss is having cattle! I told him a couple of weeks ago that I am most of May off - I will be with DCL from 5/12 to 6/6; I am thinking of going up to Disney Paris for a couple of days afterwards. This is going to be a long long vacation!!

I am traveling with my "mother in law" in reply to Kelly: "Are you doing the crossing solo? If so, you are more than welcome to join us for anything you'd like. Kelly" My hunnie is meeting us in Barcelona with a friend of her moms and I am changing rooms at that point.

We are also doing the crossing and first Med cruise with a possible trip to Disneyland Paris at the end. We will have to come up with a special name for those of us doing the back to back. Maybe a secret handshake.
