Ok, I went in and checked what is available for you and this is all I got:

Barcelona - Nothing

Cadiz - Flamenco in Puerto de Santa Maria (CD-08)

Gibraltar - Dolphin World (GB-07), Fortress Gibraltar (GB-06), Ocean Odyssey Sailing Center (GB-14), Panoramic Gibraltar & Afternoon Tea (GB-02), Rock Tour GB-04)

Tenerife - Nothing

I think once you book something, it blocks out all conflicting excursions so you can't see them anymore. I have no excursions scheduled for Barcelona, and so when I check, I see lots of Barcelona excursions as being available.

Can someone who has nothing scheduled in Cadiz check to see what is available? I have the Taste of Cadiz and Jerez scheduled and I am debating about cancelling so I can see if the Horse show comes available. However, I don't want to give it up if it is also full. If I can't get into the horse show, I'd like to do one of the other two that go to Jerez for the sherry tasting.

no, i have not orderded them yet...why, you ask? ...because the company assured me i will get them within a few days of ordering so i am extending my deadline to next friday!


The bracelet team is purchasing bracelets for those coming on this cruise as a way to identify our DIS roots and find friends from the boards! please pm with the number in your party and how many adult (8 inches) and youth (7 inches) bracelets you need! PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY THURSDAY APRIL 19 BECAUSE I AM ORDERING BRACELETS ON FRIDAY, APRIL 20!!!!

the horse show is not available on line.....i would hold onto all your ressies and go to the shore excursion desk ASAP after boarding to get your ressies moved around!!!

No, it is not like Palo. I have all day excursions in EVERY port but Gibraltar which is a half day. So what I saw is what is available. In fact we were thinking of changing our Barcelona excursion and the other one we wanted was available last Tuesday, but decided to keep what we had. And yes, we are both booked on the excursions, so it is not like one of us is available and one is book. I think this is all that is available right now.

I GOT PROMOTED!!!!!

it is a good news, bad news situation though.....

I am now a Team Manager (night shift lead nurse) of a med-surg unit but the bad news is I have to give up my job in labor and delivery anymore ...although i will moonlight over there a little to keep my skills up!

i needed this promotion to get some management experience in order to move up to hospital management in the future at my hospital but I have to leave my home for the past 8 years on my unit so i am a little scared...not to mention taking care of all those sick people!

28 days until the cruise and 27 days until we leave!!! Am the only one with an overwhelming urge to pack everything NOW?!?!?!

Soon as the houseguests leave tomorrow I am pullin' out the suitcases and starting to pack!

Congrats on the promotion! Maybe you can move back to L&D later. I told DH a couple of years ago that in my next life I want to be an L&D nurse. (Is 43 too old to change my mind about what I want to be when I grow up??? ) Most of the time, all the patients are happy to be there .

since ssnyder is coordinating the boards, matbe we should have everyone call her with room changes and she ca then call the board teams to post on all our boards for the first couple of days...then ywe can all adjust the cabin numbers on our papers....

That would work. I was also thinking that we might be able to sort some of them out at the 3:00 meet. That was where I thought I would hand out the boards. Maybe I can get the boards updated right then with the changes before we hand them out. I will also keep a master list of what was posted on the boards as they will need to be erased frequently for new updates. So if you think you missed something, call me and check.

no I am doing the same thing... yesterday when I got my Air line tickets and all my dcl package with room number and luggage tags and telphone information, that was it for me... I am so ready... even DH is getting excited with the though of traveling.

God I hope not, I am only 42 now and I keep telling my wife tha tI will find the perfect job soon Of course I have been telling her that for the past 17 years that we ahve been together but oh well.......soon I hope.

Hmmm that is odd!!! But if Elderfan can't get in, I can get in but not see things and you can see all I am wondering what in the world is going on I know I could see some of the Barcelona excursions last week because we were looking at changing to the Gaudi one but decided to keep Monserrat instead. No wonder people are frustrated!!!

Yes! Which in our case means that I need to hurry up and purchase a second set of suitcases. Today is payday, so I can go shopping this weekend again. Still need suitcases, a swimsuit, new makeup and DH needs shoes, shorts and a pair of pants.

I don't think I can start packing, though, for another 2 weeks. My in-laws are coming for a visit, and I don't think it would look to good for our living room to have suitcases all around.
