For those of you who are still ever so patiently waiting for passports --- I have great advice! Give up on ringing and holding online passport control for hours on end.....give up hounding your passport processing agent (mine was my local post office) and fax or email your US Senators!
I sent both Kay Bailey Hutchison and John Cornyn faxes at 3 am Monday morning because I was so stressed and just couldn't sleep. Between 2 and 4 pm - I got two calls - one from Kay's aide and one from John's aide -- both assuring me that my grandson WOULD have his passport and I would NOT be charged an expedite fee as I had been advised paying an expedite fee at submission of the application was not necessary.
Bright and early this morning, sure enough my credit card was zapped (by weekend shopping) but not by the passport agency AND the passport application status page shows shipped by priority mail!

I called yesterday about DD, who had put hers in way before ours and the gal on the phone sent an "urgent" message saying that DD's trip dates had been moved up and that I should call again on Thursday. I feel your pain and now joy!

Has anyone else noticed that the closer the time come for you acutally needing a swimsuit the more victoria secret swimsuit catalogs come in the mail?
Why cant anyone put out a catalog with real "havent spent the last 5 years starving/working out" bodies?
We've had that same conversatipon dozens of times I will probably wear a Transatlantic crossing shirt to the terminal but change into the proper Frat wear for sailaway.

PC certainly immersed herself in the fish-extender production process. I was getting concerned when she contemplated moving the production line from our dining room table to a small manufacturing firm off-shore. Fortunately, we have our dining room table back and can have a family meal again. Sorry, no off-shore contracts were let.
Off to have dinner on our newly cleared off dining room table.

Possibly there is some sort of strength in numbers: if so, we should gather together bc I'm sure that I'll never see this many Cynthias together in one place again!! I admit that if I end up being "Cupcake" on the cruise, I'll wish that I selected a more dignified screen name!
