I have been wondering if I could go sit at the bar and order one (no ressies needed for the Palo bar I am told). If I can get more than one soufle this trip I may actually gain weight on the cruise this trip--but ti would be worth it. DeAnna--shall we make a date to hang out at the bar and eat soufle?

Hadley, I AM SO THERE!!! I kinda liked the idea of looking waif-ish outside of Palo's, though! I think we should take our souffle's and eat them out on the deck outside of Palo. We'll kinda feel "part of the experience" AND the view will be great! We can wave at all our fellow cruisers who are at the "real" tables! Maybe we can even press kisses on the glass!

eh...whatever...you needn't qualify the cult remark....we know we're a cult! Read back to the early posts on this thread and you'll see Jason used to make the same accusation......but once he gets his bracelets and lanyards and name tags and sees all the magnets and fish extenders and everything up....he'll realize how glad he is that I started worshipping the mouse...you'll see!!

Michelle--Whenever the mid-afternoon munchies hit, check out the bars. We have found nachos, chocolate dipped strawberries, corn muffins, quesadillas, etc. Lots of goodies you don't see other places. It seems like on every cruise I find a new place that they leave food for us

Creative fish extender??!!! Cool-ee-o!!! I now have permission to go crazzzy! How fun!!!

On the Wonder's Southern Carribean cruise this past Sept. we kind of went wild making fish extenders. The fish extenders were of various shapes, sizes, and materials. Our fish extender looked nothing like any of the others. I can't seem to figure out how to post a picture or I would. I'm trying to convince Carolyn to bring it along, but luggage space is limited. We are in cabin 6574 so come by a you can see how my imagination works. Alex

THE OFFICIAL DISBOARD SCRAPBOOK CLASS ON TAKING THE MAGIC TO THE MED!

I've had many PM me asking, and I have been putting it off, but promising I would do, so here is the info.

I usually teach a class (all skill levels invited) on the cruises I go on.
I bring all the supplies, and we put whatever I have come up with together during the class. It is held on a sea day. I haven't decided which day or time yet. Here's the deal:

What: Official Scrapbook Class

When: Sea Day about the Disney Magic

Where: either Promenade Lounge, Animator's Palatte or other location I can talk the ship in to letting me use.

What are we doing?: I am so excited. I have been able to score some 8 x 8 scrapbooks this time for a steal of a price. You can choose either a red cover or lime green. We will be doing approximately 14 pages and it will take about 1 1/2 hours - 2 hours to complete. It will be EASY! Don't let the project scare you away. If you have wanted to learn to scrapbook, this is the class for you.

Cost: $8.00 donation (In the past, I haven't charged for the class. But if you can help defray the costs of the scrapbook and the supplies, that would be great.)

How do I sign up? PM me with your info. Disboard name, stateroom number and your first name so I know who is coming. Also, tell me if you prefer the bright red scrapbook or the lime green.

Deadline: How about May 1st? I will need to ship all the stuff to the ship so I don't have to haul it all across the country.

LOVE Scrapbooking Linda, count me in! I only have a spa appointment on Monday afternoon. Otherwise, I am open. If you need me to bring anything, I have tons of supplies. In fact, on Friday I am going to the big Scrapbook convention here in Phoenix and I have my list of things to get to make my scrapbook for the cruise. Our favorite appetizers are:
Abby - any fruit
Darrell - Sesame barbeque wings
Sandi - Escargot and any soup!
Hope everyone is doing well. We are heading to Chicago for the weekend because my husband is speaking at a conference so I know it will be colder then Phoenix but after that I am packing for the cruise!!! No docs yet!!

What a terrible thing to have happen in Virginia! Somebody just went into one of the buildings and starting shooting everyone in sight. These school shooting are so scary, there;s no way to protect yourself at all!
My condolences to all the families involved.

This did make the news over here too. I feel so so sorry for anyone involved in this. My heart goes out to them.

Fish extenders

I'm sure it's okay, but I'm going to ask anyway...Would it be okay if I broke with tradition and only made one or two big pockets for my "fish-box." I'm going for easy, and I think I would be less upset if a simple version were "mysteriously" taken . If I take the time for lots of pockets, that thing better be in my family for generations.

The one I made for my sister (rikimuk) only has 3 pockets I think so it really doesn't matter! I went for easy too

you need to put it into a Photobucket album first. It makes it so much easier....photobucket.com.

Just register and follow the instructions. Then all you do is click on the bottom choice, click copy and then in your message click paste.

That's the only way I know how to do it.
