This post just cracked me up![]()
I hear ya about the expired supplies . . . I have to go out an make the big "drug supply" run to Wal-Mart, too, because everything has expired!!!![]()
. . . and the bathing suit. . . don't get me started. I've put this off for too long and I'm sure I'll end up wearing the same old thing from last year!!!
On a more serious note . . . DD9 has had a fever for the third day now and has developed a rashI think she may have Scarlet Fever. I'm bringing her in later today for a doctor's appointment. I just hope it doesn't spread through the household. We have 2 weeks to kick this thing!!!!!
Really needing some pixie dust people!!!![]()
Does she have spots on her palate or a thick yellowish coating on the inside her mouth and on the roof of her mouth? Any swollen glands? Both of these are common to Scarlet fever.
If she had cold like symptoms before hand and no swollen glands or mouth symptoms it might be 5th Disease (which is much more common in children than Scarlet Fever).
Good luck and let us know.
WHAT?!?! I thought scarlet fever hadn't been around since Little House on the Prairie type days! Your poor DD! Poor YOU! I will absolutely have my fingers and toes crossed for you.![]()
Could it be Roseola, AKA Sixth Disease? Read about it here: Roseola Information
If so, then the rash should be gone soon and the worst is likely over.![]()
About 7-10 days of antibiotics. Plenty of time before the cruise to get better!!Thanks for the link! After reading it and some Scarlet Fever info, it really sounds like Scarlet Fever to me. So, if it's not Roseola . . . and the worst is not over . . . what am I in for?![]()
The posters on the Make a Wish thread asked for some cruise trip reports (most of them have gone to the parks, not on a cruise), so I started writing mine today. It is not nearly as witty as the others I've read, but hopefully it won't be too bad and will ultimately help another wish family have an idea of what to expect on their cruise. The link is in my signature.
It may be a curse in the humidity we'll endure on the cruise, though. SO, if you see Rosanne Rosannadanna on the ship, you'll know that's me!!!![]()

...I'm bringing her Cinderella dress for our dinner w/Cinderella which is the Sunday after the cruise. Should I let her wear it on the cruise ship? I think it's a bit much.... but she loves it!
OK I just HAVE to post this! This morning was dancing school photos and this is Bella's very first year (she's only 2.5) and she got all dolled up and posed with her 'best friend' (these two are like glue).
Bella is smaller the one on the left (when you're looking at the photo).
I'm just soover this!!

What happens if we dont get to castaway either day as some cruises just dont, can you call it a double dip if you dont ever get there. Disney would have to be prepared for something like that since missing the island has happened 2 out of my 4 cruises. just wondering
Let's play a game
Where will you be, what will you be doing, 2 weeks from the time you are posting (don't try to translate in terms of time zone, just use your current time/day).
On Monday 5/12, at 12:08pm, I will:
Be finishing up parasailing and settling down for lunch with my family, a huge plate of ribs in front of me with lots and lots of napkins!
