Hi Keri Jo. I'm not sure but will see if I can find out. I know in the past people have received chocolates, liquor and other items in small amounts as fish extender gifts. Let me do a bit of research to see if I can find out.

I called today! Candy is ok if sealed and it can go in luggage but take a risk of it being smashed! Beer and alcohol for who wants to know is ok but has to go in carry on bag! And has to be sealed!

Fish Extender - Updated List

Hello All,

Here is an updated list. This is the list that should contain the final Group A members. Please take a look and let me know if there are updates.

Thank you DreamMarshall for offering to set up the fish extenders. This will be our first Disney cruise. We don't have an assigned stateroom at this time. When I called to make the reservation they didn't have the room type we were looking for, so we are set up with a "guaranteed room" category, and our room will be assigned a couple weeks before the cruise.

Laura: adult
Chloe: age 4 girl, anything princess
No allergies

We are from Brazil and it will be our first time in Disney Cruise Line.
We heard about a fish extender and if it’s not to late we´d like to participate.
Our group has 11 people in 3 cabin.
If still have time tell me to give the cabin numbers and name of people.

Buy the way, is there any other Brazilian group in this cruise.

Hi Jose..unfortunately the list for the first fish extender group is closed. If there is enough interest maybe a second group could be started. Since we closed the list you have been the first to request to join. I will keep an eye out for you and see if others respond.

Please forgive me, if it is posted anywhere, but as someone else in our group had mentioned, they did not have such a wonderful idea when I last sailed in 2005. Guidelines for treats? Do we distribute goodies once a day, any certain time of day, and specific monetary amount/cap on the treats? I am sure I am not alone, when I say I am excited to start creating/shopping; but I just don't want to break any "rules"

Hi Sue2aT...there is no monetary minimum/maximum on gifts. Past guests who are crafty will make gifts, some have purchased gifts and some may do a combination of both. How much you spend is all up to you.

Regarding delivery I think since its a short trip we don't want to add pressure on anyone to deliver on a specific date. I think it's feasible to deliver by late afternoon/early evening the day before we arrive back to Port Canaveral in order to give everyone time to pack their goodies into their luggage or carry ons. It's possible you may come back to a extender full of gifts one evening or maybe some will decide to deliver one small gift every day, others may make/purchase gifts specific to the pirate night theme so will deliver on our pirate night. It's all fine.

It's also a good idea to put who the gift is from. So we included gift tags with our goodies that included a small disclosure that reads "courtesy of room...." or you can add your disboard name.
