Post it over on the Captain Jack Thread!

(I was going to do it, but I thought you should do it since it is yours)

We are going to vote, remember? But I did post at "home"

Oh my Goodness...you are all working yourselves into a lather over rooms. I am quite sure that we will all get rooms, but who ever said paying for them may be the issues is right. :thumbsup2 We have already set a max per person average that we will pay and if it exceeds that, well Hawaii here we come. However, we were very agressive and set our prices higher than we expect them to be. And between me and my anal TA we think we have the right ball park high and lows for the categories, which even if we have to pay the max, would still get us in a cat 5 for 2 and a cat 11 for 2 at $3k per person (before taxes, fees, and all the rest of that BS, not including insurance and transfers):surfweb:

So just be prepared for it to be a really long day on the phone :headache: and don't worry about there not being any rooms. After the last repo opened, there were almost NO rooms left after the first 2 days and then after 5-6 days when deposits were due, more started showing up, and you could still get rooms on the East Bound repo cruise (IF you were willing to fork over the $$$$) up until the last minute. The biggest reason to be on the phones at the butt crack of dawn is to get the cheapest pricing prossible. :teacher:

John1, if you can handle two little girls at Disney on Ice AND High School Musical, you certainly can handle a little thing like getting a stateroom. :lmao:

Not HS Musical Angie . . . it was the "Cheetah Girls" - 10X worse!

Maybe this is a good sign and can quell some anxiety . . . The EB thread is up to almost 90 pages, and we are at just 20 . . . I think the issue is not just prolific posters - there are MORE of them, and I think that cruise is probably much more popular because of the time.

We ARE planning on pulling our DD out of school though - this is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity, and while Sophia will have her friend Savannah with her, I hope they have some more company with them in the clubs!

(although it may be kind of cool to have more of that club to yourself eh Kim?)

I hear on the last WB PC, the adults got a whole night in the lab, since there were so few kids, woo hoo, I have always wanted to use the secret tunnel on deck 5. Think Sophia and Savannha can handle us.

Hmmmmmm . . . does less kids mean MORE adults though, and therefore harder to get into Palo and Brunch?

Of course it may mean LESS people on the ship, as there will probably be more "couples" cabins without the kids.

Using the POC 3 Early Poster Release...of course my stuff looks so amature compared to PJ...I bow to your superiority!!!

I did the East Bound last time and it was packed with kids and teens...all were pretty well behaved, but there was the summer break crowd who would never consider taking their kids out of school. Of course my friend Susan wanted to do the WB, but hmmm her daughters finals and High School graduation is that first weekend, and well, she really couldn't miss that...and live to tell about it!!!:scared1: We are taking the girls out of school and they can do an independent study program while we are gone. School will always be there, and no matter how important the schools think they are, nothing is as important as spending time as a family. And before you flame me, my mom is a retired teacher and my sister was teacher of the year last year, so trust me, I know ALL about the importance of a good education! Which is why I don't teach!!! I are a budget nazi!!!pirate:

I like it. I use Photoshop Elements 4.0. I had Photoshop CS, but it scared me.:rotfl: I just add effects to my text, then keep the rest simple.

Oh yes, they would have a blast! That is if we can ever get them off the slide and actually in the clubs! And heaven forbid they have to eat in the clubs!

Eating in the clubs??? Ha!! Our kids ordered so much room service and so regularly, that when they didn't call in with their order one nite, they called the room to find out if there was a problem!!! Of course I have to admit that we did the cheese platter almost every afternoon and when we missed our second afternoon in a row, they called and asked us about it too...I just don't know how RCCL is going to be able to measure up to DCL service and we have a suite with them, and just a verandah on DCL!!!

This cruise the kids already know they are limited to 1, one, uno room service a day!! And they are already complaining about it!! I think the room service person wore a rut in the floor going to our room!!! :lmao:

what it will mean is more time on the mickey slide, less families on the CC Beach and more seats during kid movies!

I don't think you will get any flames from this crowd! All of us from the 12/09 group took kids out of school for that trip. School Board President, John1, regularly takes his kids out for the "really important stuff" i.e. family.

DD ate Pizza, fruit plate or Hot Dogs next to the pool almost exclusively. Then they had to eat at the kids club when we went to Palo and they put meat in the noodles. Oh My! Its a world crisis! Seriously, we all got paged. They did not want to eat the food there...
