I vote we wear name tags for John's benefit. (okay for mine too, but I'm blaming John tonight) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Let's get this party started.....

John did ya get the bedazzler for Xmas? ok true story, my MIL has it. She thinks those cute little flashey stones make everything look marvelous  :scared1: :rolleyes1 :woohoo:

Nooooooo . . . .

But Sophia DID! Not as a joke either - her aunt got it for her.

She is at Grandma's tonight with her cousins.

Maybe I should try it out on some of Amy's panties . . . you know, a kind of trial run . . .

Trial alright like your trial in court perhaps....keep your hands off those panties....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Why do people think that looks good?

Okay, I have another true confessional story.

My MIL loves this stuff called Trent Pottery. He is a local Los Gatos artist. I think we started sometime in the 70s. Not everything was good from that time....So MIL buys a piece of pottery for wedding gifts for any wedding she is invited to. I hate the stuff (DH thinks it's ugly too), but she loves it, and I can't tell her that I hate it because she would be personally offended and it might cause the next WW in our family. We had dodged the bullet until our 11th anniversary. We got the Trent Pottery bowl. :scared1: Okay here's the funny part. I was snooping the web on pet cremations for my mom's little dog Rikki, and I found that the artist Trent, now makes custom pottery containers for ashes for pets, that he creamates in his kiln or something like his kiln GROSS :scared1: :rolleyes1

okay that's it. I hate the stuff my MIL gives us. Anyone else out there have that same situtation?

:confused3
I'm happy to offer a bit of verdana time for you lifers, I mean lifeboaters :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh, I'm already doing the veranda hopping and yours is number one on the list! I'll invite my crew along since you offered! Don't forget to chill more wine!

The cereal....kids only get sugar cereal from Santa or when we are on vacation! So, every year they each get a box. Isn't Santa sneaky

They make other kinds of cereal???

You certainly are....looking forward to it! Can't speak for my matees, but I will definitely be there. Let us know what day is good for you. Pick a sea day or the PC crossing day. Me and John will probably join the overnight party and sleep out there the night before. Then at a reasonable hour....I say.....get the party started and go veranda hopping.

hmmmm, did I mention my room number in public yet :lmao: :lmao:

oh ya you couch surfers are going to have to kick my kids outta their bed, one of them sleeps on the couch, it pulls out into the bed then the other one uses the pull down bed from the ceiling.

I've actually been thinking of calling to see if we could get on a cat 3cancellation list. I wonder how much more room they are over the cat 4s???

Hey, I just noticed that I hit 3k posts tonight. That's not bad for doing it in one year and two months. If I keep up at this rate, maybe I can catch up to Holly....Not!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I congrats on 3K, I made 2K a short time ago too :goodvibes

Chatter chatter chatter....

PJ are you listening....how about:

iDIS
Lifeboat Crew

with a pic of our mascot!!!

The only choices for mascots would be tink and jimeny cricket because they're the only ones who will fit with all three of us. Tink is already taken for the Champagne Girls so I guess it's jimeny cricket!!

Fellow lifeboat crew.....how do you feel about that one?

I read it, was going to offer, then thought "I don't want to be pushy" :rotfl: :rotfl: ;) :rotfl: :rotfl:

Karen, John's birthday is two days after your DSIS....he's Jan 11th. Do you wrap your sis's presents in birthday paper and put them under the tree? We do that for John, then we take the tree down after his birthday.

Usually, I end up giving him his birthday presents for Christmas then I have to go out after Christmas and buy him more. I was good this year, I kept them in hiding....he'll have to wait.

Please PJ....be pushy.....help us out and be as creative as you want. You did a GREAT job with the tink logo. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

We saw it in the theater and didn't like it - actually thought it was kind of boring.

I think the saying is - Take 1/2 the clothes and twice the cash you think you will need! :rotfl2:

Tarzan's Treehouse used to be Swiss Family Robinson's - they have converted it to the Tarzan theme - still a lot of the old elements there.

Goofy's is a bouncehouse - my 6 year old niece liked it on the last trip. Chip and Dale's not so much - more of a walk-through. The whole toontown area is cute though so I recommend going to see everything - doesn't take long.

We'll have ours on at the terminal.

Maybe those of us with rooms could rotate you guys on our sofas so you could get an occasional tv fix :happytv: (heck I'll add my shower to the rotation - after all I'm sitting with you at dinner!!) :rotfl2:

I hear the showers in the fitness centre are rather nice.:confused3 ;)

I have to say that when I was there I totally missed even seeing those places (other than the tree house) and now I know why - Toontown. That place was really small, and seemed shoe-horned in to DL - I felt claustrophobic as I walked around there!

More people like us need to keep riding that horse. It is just plain WRONG.

I went to a local urgent care facility a few weeks ago because I could see I had an infection in my finger. It was all swollen and red. The doctor saw me, lanced it, had me soak it, and that was it. I was there about an hour - even counting the wait. I got the bill the other day . . . FIVE-HUNDRED AND FOUR DOLLARS! Is that crazy? The bill said something like "surgery" - for God's sake he poked my finger! Since it has been a mostly healthy year for me, and I had nowhere met my $250 deductible, I owe over $300.

No wonder we have a health care crisis.

Ok, up here it might take three hours+ to see a Doc, but I have never seen a bill from a hospital other then for the TV/Phone and if taken, the ambulance ride (only happened once and it was $40.) My $30 a month extended health insurance, for a single, covers most everything else.

It may take longer and we would love to have the option to pay for quicker service at private clinics but for right now, everyone gets at least the basics of health care without financial burden.

I don't think I have ever had to read a story about seniors choosing food or medicine or other hardship stories revolving around medical care in the main stream media. We get stories about wait times, but not denial/cost of care.

I'm way behind you guys in post - and I've been a member of the site since 2003!

Yea, that's coz you never had anyone good to talk to until now. We know, you love us all! And don't use multiquote....it kills your post count!
