PJ thank you for the PM info on the web site. I had been there before but I forgot how to get there again. I was looking for the pics on the other website, so that's why I was confused. Thanks for sending the info and clearing that up for me.

We're going to the Olive Garden for dinner Christmas Eve. It's always nice driving then as the stores have closed and most people don't go out. On Christmas we're going to the movies in the morning and then have a real easy dinner at home.

Well I shoud be getting to bed - alarm is going off in about 6 hours!

Sounds like a great way to spend the holiday. When do you open presents???

GoodNight Lisa, sweet Mickey dreams!!!

Hi Mishoe01

I forgot tell you that I think your photos are so beautiful.

Wish these are in my shop :thumbsup2

I am off to work soon :sad2: glad it is last one nightshift then off until 27 Dec:thumbsup2

Scottishwee35

Your shift should be over by now Deborah so  :dance3: :yay: .

I must say, I HATE working in retail this time of year, I'm exhausted :headache: I manage a cash office so I don't even get the joy of sharing the excitement of our shoppers (okay, unfortunately it's getting to be more and more the frustration of the shoppers:sad2: ) Our hours of business have been extended so I am either getting home at midnight or later, or starting work at 6:00 AM so getting out of bed at 4:30. My shifts change daily so at this point I don't think my body knows what time of day it is, I had to get up early today and just could not sleep last night. I'm glad I can sleep in tomorrow, but then I work late and then go in during the day the following day (but thankfully not at as early as 6:00 am:rolleyes: ) I am so glad I booked Sunday off, although I don't think my manager was too happy. I did manage to get my tree up, shopping done, and will do my wrapping and some baking before I go in to work tomorrow. Can't believe there are only 4 more days until Christmas:eek:
Kathe

I think you retail workers are undervalued at this time of year. You work full out right up to Christmas, and over here our big sales begin just after Christmas, some just the day after(Boxing Day here), so not too much respite at all. They pay is not good over here either. and you have to put up with us stressed and awkward shoppers too. I do try to be particularly nice though!;)

Since I was literally falling asleep at work, and had a migraine all day, I'm off to have a quick snack and head to bed. Gonna sleep TONS tonight! :goodvibes Too tired to stay up doing anything tonight. Tomorrow after work I need to wrap all Tyler's Santa presents and hide them before he comes home the next day. :thumbsup2

Hope you wake up refreshed this morning Holly.

Not weird Lisa....I've always wanted to be on a jury too. I've done jury duty a number of times, just never got my name called to even be considered. I'm still waiting.

I think your case was really cool. I wonder if they would ever pick a lawyer to be on the jury....if it's of your peers....I would think that lawyers are not because they know the law. Just curious.

When John was a teacher he longed to be on jury service but never was. Now he has his own business it is the last thing he wants!:lmao:

It's been a quiet day for me today too. No Ibiza....it was supposed to be delivered FedEx along with another item, but they were returned to the FedEx office because they couldn't get up my driveway to deliver. I hate trying to get deliveries in the winter and I only shop online. This is a particularly bad winter so far. I called FedEx and told them to leave it in the truck at the bottom of the driveway. Hopefully they will get delivered tomorrow.

I got a Christmas card today from my brother and what he wrote in it put me and John both in tears.

Tomorrow I start wrapping, then I'll be done and ready for Christmas. It'll be fun to go to a local hotel and swim on Christmas eve. So different from every other Christmas eve. We pick up Ray at 11am on Christmas morning and bring him to our house and open presents. Then we're going out to dinner with Ray and the kid.

We got rid of one of John's kids, but we still have the other one living here with us. He has a studio apt. above the detached garage. Same property, different house. He also works with John so they share the ride.

You might just be starting a new tradition by staying at a hotel in Bethlehem on Christmas Eve. Sounds a lovely way to start the holiday, even though your reason this year is a sad one.

4 sleeps - woohoo.:santa: :dance3: :santa:

Just waiting for the floors to dry after I washed them, and then getting ready and trying to get my last few bits for prezzies.

John is finishing midday so will probably go for a coffee somewhere - then I have a few jobs for him!;)

Out to friends for a meal tonight which should be lovely, then really from then on we can relax. That is one good thing about being old.:lmao:

good morning!

Well the girls actually slept in bed last night! Whoo hoo!!

I am taking a half day today and hope to get all my shopping done.

Kidnapped by Eskimo Aliens at the blizzard of a Browns Game!
You're too funny! Great news about your new company car! Don't try to catch up here.....you know the drill, just jump back in and we'll update you with anything important or anything you ask about. :thumbsup2

Deb: What a bummer about your driveway! Must be miserable being stuck at home.

OK.....really have to get moving. Woke up pretty rested. Didn't go to bed as early as anticipated because I was reading, but got WAY more sleep than the previous night! I definitely will be able to cope today.

I just remembered that today's lunch choices at Tyler's school are both something he won't eat and he asked if he could take cold lunch. I wrote it on my calendar, but completely forgot to tell his dad, so off I go to make a lunch for him and make a special trip up to his school to deliver. It will put me about 20 minutes late for work, but they won't mind.

Have a great day all!

sorry to here about the wacky time schedule for you. I worked in a liquor store for years and know only to well that Holiday spirit of which you speak.

How many websites are there? I know about the Ship of Thieves one but is there another?

oh my, I am leaving at noon today and I really need to finish something up.
The cath lab dir was supposed to be here at 8 to meet with me and he hasn't shown yet.

That sounds lovely Marilyn.....I like the relaxing part....no Christmas rushing around. When do you see all the grandkids for Christmas?

We're Brent sitting tonight! Going to MacD's and then to see Fred Claus.

That should be a lot of fun....I bet he's getting excited about Santa coming soon.....such a fun time of the year for the kids. Is Brent your only grandchild so far?

So who has off Monday and Tuesday and who has to work?

Even though he works for a teaching hospital facility, John has to work on Monday but he has off on Tuesday.

Anybody have off both days? Anybody working both days?

What a nice long weekend if you have both days off.

The one and only! There will probably be no more which I think is for the best.
