Having a quiet lazy afternoon. :confused3 :) John has fallen asleep with his laptop on his lap, so I have sent an email telling him to wake up. When it comes through there should be a fairly loud ding and that should do the job!!!!!:lmao: Trouble is I want to go to the bathroom, but don't want to wake him up before the email comes through!!!

There will just be time for a walk, but it looks a little dull out. Not too cold though. I think it is one of those days when it is warmer out than in!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

No time to finish catching up right now. Was catching up a tiny bit while Tyler finished his dinner. Now we're off to return a ton of books to the library, quick stop at the grocery store, then bathtime and bed for Tyler by 7:30. Then I'll be back here catching up again. :lmao:

Wow - lots to catch up on!

Yeah Indians ---- talk about a LATE game!

Venetia - glad to hear the celebration went well.

I am usually a night person but I could not stay up past eleven yesterday.:confused3 When I got up for a drink of water at about 1:40 I thought that DH had fallen asleep with the TV on then I heard baseball and DH yelling "they won".   I am so glad they won. DH and DS have tickets for tomorrow's game. Hope DH is feeling better by then as he is sick now.

The game was great....! We had a blast. The seats were awesome! Soooo awesome! We were in the South End Zone, Party central...and funny - the people around couldn't believe the girls. I told them this wasn't their first rodeo.

guess what V forgot? Yep, my camera...which the batteries had been charging all night. Luckily I bought a throw away for only $12!

so I got great pics and I need to get them put on disc along with the Gator game throw away camera I had to buy!

The cheerleaders had pink pom poms for breast cancer awareness and at the beginning on the game survivors ran onto the field with Bucs flags. We had seats right by the players entrance.

ARRRRRHHHH!!!

The Bucs, they play the POTC Yo ho song and the POTC themed movie music. I wonder if they pay royalties>??!!!
They threw out beads all the time and the when I asked Samantha if she would rather go to the Gators or the Bucs ----she said Bucs, Mom, they have cup holders!

What a quiet day on here today.....I'm watching the Jets game and switching back and forth with the Bucs game....looking for V and family! No sightings yet!

DGS Kris just cleaned for me and then John took him home. DGS Tom is still in boot camp until Thursday. Sandi can't wait to pick him up. Kris doesn't really want to go to FL to move, neither does Tom. They both want to stay here and finish school. I feel bad for them that they have to go.

John is puttering around trying to find room for yet more boxes that we brought back from mom's house. The Auction is next Sat. I need lots of positive thoughts and pixie dust that the house sells! Please keep it in your thoughts and if we all think hard about it, it will happen! Thanks!

There is no way to catch up, so I'm just jumping back in here. We spent the last 2 days traveling to my SIL's funeral. Sad, sad for my brother. I am so glad we went. We drove over 600 miles in the 2 days. Back home by 9:30 last night and now trying to catch up on the laundry, etc.

We spent Friday laying new flooring in the downstairs bedroom. It looks really, really good! We bought a vinyl that looks and FEELS like wood, but is very easy to install. Even Dennis and I could do it!! :lmao:
Such a sad time for your brother right now, but I'm glad you and Dennis were able to be there for him. :grouphug: I'm sure your brother appreciates you being there too.

Or the easier (and, for me, safer and more reliable) way is to go to Marks & Spencer, buy them ready-made, and microwave for 2 minutes. :lmao:
They do a yummy chocolate version too, with chocolate sponge and hot chocolate sauce.
Sounds absolutely wonderful! Yummy! :goodvibes The original version sounds delicious too!

Venetias Life Celebration for her Mom went very well yesterday! We had our first rain in forever on friday night, so we were kinda worried that the day would be ruined. But the powers that be were very kind to us and the weather was perfect! A bit crisp, but with that nice fresh clean smell and feel that happens after a good rain. The live butterfly release was awesome :hippie: and a very cool and unexpected surprise for all the friends and family that attended(about 50 or so)! Most of them were just amazed that you could do such a thing! Hopefully V will post some pictures soon. Thanks Nan for the tip on the butterfly company. So very , very cool! I recomend this to anyone who wants to do something special and different on a special occasion! And thanks again to ALL of you who have sent kind words to V over the last couple of months, it has meant a lot to her. Oh ya, and if I do say so myself, my brother and I did an awesome job on the B.B.Q.! Sometimes ya just gotta pat yourself on the back ya know!:rolleyes1 I enjoy planning and setting everything up and my Bro is an awesome Q'er, which is the hardest and most important part, so I'm very lucky he helps me out!Anywhoo, thanks again and keep bugging V for those pictures!:thumbsup2
I'm so glad to hear the Life Celebration went well! It must have been very beautiful and touching to see all the butterflies flying. :goodvibes :grouphug:

Next week is a big push for me, one of my clients just released their product this weekend at a tradeshow in Texas...

http://maverickbrand.com/

I'm working on setting up the ERP system for them...not my usual type of client (I do mostly software companies) but this one is very fun and we can totally relate the this product at our house. I'll keep you posted when to see it in neighborhoods around the country. First sales will be west coast and then Florida...
OOoooooh! I can't wait to try it, especially Strawberry Dream and Orange Cream. Yummy!!!! :goodvibes

back from girl scouts.

Paul is bringing home a citrus salad and salmon for dinner from a local favorite we get togo from often, Sonoma Chicken Coop.

Molly and I cleaned up from camping, put laundry away, :laundy: you can now sit on the couch in our living room, we also made a pass thru her room, what a mess!!! She has a hard time keeping it organized and still has too many toys, and clothes, and books to keep in place, so it's never fun. She had stuffed her shelf in her bookcase so I got mad and told her she had the rest to herself.

Hope there is some good lazy tv on tonight. Wish we had a hot tub I could use a soak right now. Every year I look at them and tell myself this year I'll get one, but never do it. I can't see it in the back yard. It has to come somehow soon here or half moon bay these old bones need a place to soak on tired days like this. :sad2:

We have the Halloween boxes out on the porch, our neighborhood decorates almost as much for Halloween as for Xmas, lights, graveyards, ghosts flying form trees. I love the look.

I made it out for my tulips this week!!! I got about 1500 blubs. We have to place them in the refridgerator for 4-6 weeks as it doesn't get cold enough to bloom here without the extra chill. Then we on Thanksgiving weekend pull out the old set (give them away to someone in colder country, used to be my parents) and plant the new. We have two beds in the front yard that look like Holland every year. The neighbors have come to expect it from me now, so I must not disappoint. :rolleyes1 Every year we have a few people stop and some even knock on the door and tell us how much they love them. Last year our nieghbors accross the street watched a car stop, a person get out, cut a bunch and then drive off. The nerve!!! Even I don't cut them for the house, I figure more people enjoy them in the front yard. (I just buy cut bunches at the grogery store for my fixes)

okay, chatty cathy, going to see what we need to hang up outside.

BOOOOOOOOOO!

Hi Julie!!!! Good to see you.

Angie & Dennis: Still got ya in my prayers for strenght for your family during this time of loss.

I'll keep ya posted when they hit Michigan!

They really do taste great and I'm kinda a smoothie snob.

It's very cool to have a product that I've watched grow from concept to package be produced. Even better to see what happens with them in the long term, I have a feeling this will be a very sucessful venture.

I've been lucky to work with quite a few CEOs that became multi-millionaries thru the dot com era, but it's more fun to be able to show people something like this because they can taste and feel it themselves. Most of the software companies I've worked with no one has ever heard of, too industry specific.

ok, one I'm sure you know well.... A good friend is the founder of Match.com

You all know that one right? :rolleyes1
