Hope you get a rest to helop the migraine go.
Oh, I did. We watched a ScoobyDoo movie on tv and I dozed for 1/2 hour. Didn't make the migraine go away, but felt better to stop moving. It's about gone now and I'm going to bed in a couple minutes.

We had a wonderful evening yesterday. DD and DSIL came to our MH and we played SkipBo...DD won 2 games and I won 2 games. :) The boys did not do so good! :lmao: The sun came out today so Dennis and I took our new collapsable bikes out for a 2 mile spin. We had a really good time, the bay was lovely that we rode by. Then we unhooked everything and headed home. Just before we got back home I got the call from my brother. His wife passed away shortly after 3 today. She was in the hospital for 4 months, they were not hopeful for the past week and Sat. night told him they did not think she would survive the night. This is so sad for him, they were completely devoted.:sad1: Services will be sometime later this week.

John and I wish to express our deepest sympathy and prayers to your brother and your family. I know this was somewhat expected but it is still a hard time for all of you. Our hearts and thoughts are with you during this tragic time.

My deepest sympathy to you and your brother. He will really be needing you over the next few days, weeks and months. I am so sorry.

Thank you for the thoughts. Yes, he will need our support. I hate that he lives so near, yet so far. It is about a 4 hour drive each way to his house.

That does sound a nice night for Palos I agree.

I do keep wondering about Laura. It is a hard time she has been going through and it would be good to hear how she is.
My thoughts exactly....on both counts.

Angie - :grouphug: s to you, Dennis, and your family. Prayers to you too. Please call on us if/as you need us.

Holly,

You look GREAT!! Keep up the good work!!

Karen
Thanks Karen, but I just wish I could find a "before" pic to put next to it for comparison. :goodvibes Oh well...I remember when that shirt was skin tight and I couldn't wear it. Now it's just right! But when I saw that pic, I realized that I got smaller in places I'd rather not! Sorry....too much info! :rotfl: But all women know what I mean....the only bad part about losing weight! :lmao:

Angie and Denis:

So sorry to hear your news. My prayers are with you and your family.

Nan

Angie, I'm so sorry about your brother's wife. And for his sadness too, as well as your family's loss. :sad1:  :grouphug:

Lisa, I tested Photobucket for you to see if it's working because you'd asked earlier if somebody could test it because it wasn't working for you. So it's working now and you can post your pics! :)

Deleted my pic and the rest of this post. ;)

Has anyone seen/does anyone have:

Locks, Crocs, and Skeeters: The Story of the Panama Canal or The Panama Canal: The Story of how a jungle was conquered and the world made smaller (Wonders of the World Book)

The first is supposed to be good for ages 4-8 and the second for ages 9-12. I am trying to finish some christmas shopping and these would be for the girls.

Any opinions would be great.

Thanks

Kaylee-We have the Wonders of the World book....both boys like it. In fact, I ordered more on other subjects (like Pyramids, the Parthenon). We can recommend it! :thumbsup2

OK....been so exhausted lately...and the jackhammer in my head has started again. Headed to bed. Goodnight all!

Don't have them but thinking the same as you that I will get them for presents. They seem to be the only books for kids. I wonder if one of them might be something that can be signed by the characters onboard. I am running out of ideas for signatures.

That's a great idea!!! I hadn't even thought of it and was wondering what we'd do since we've done the photo mats and pillows...I think we'll do that with our copy. Thanks for the great idea!!! :thumbsup2
