Good Morning....happy Wednesday....I have a wound center appointment today and John is home to drive me coz I take two vicodin before going...they still touch and poke....a lot gentler....but it still hurts on the right leg....so I take pain killers before Dr. appointments.

The appointment is in the afternoon. Before that we have lots of errands to run today for Ray....so we're going to Mrs. Bush's Personal Care facility and to Ray's Dr. and we have to check out the drug store that Mrs. Bush uses and see if they take Ray's insurance, then switch him over there if we can.

It's a dark and dreary day right now, hopefully it will improve as the sun comes fully up.

Only 22 more days until we leave for FL. I really have to start thinking about doing FL laundry and packing. This will be our trial run for packing in May coz we're only taking one week's worth and having our laundry done.

Later today Angel is coming home. Sandi says she's still wild. We got her the zap collar so hopefully that will help calm her down some. I can't wait to see how big she has gotten. She was 8 months old when I last saw her in August. Now she'll be 10 months in two weeks. I wonder how much more she weighs? She was 70 lbs. at 7 months...she has to be more by now. I really miss her.

Hope your wound care appointment goes well and you don't have too much pain. Sounds like you have a busy day but with Angel coming home, I bet it will end on a happy note!

Noel - sorry you had such a tough relationship with your mother. I know my mother & I went through a really bad time when I was in high school/early college but now I don't know what I would do with out her.

I know that you have learned from that relationship and are doing wonders with your kids and gkids.

I was very close to my grandmother and learned about relationships through her and my grandfather. I am very close to my kids and patterned my relationships on what I learned from my grandparents about parenting.

First purchase was Vero Beach (220 pts)

Then we bought Beach Club (220 pts)

So each kid could get one . . .

Finally bought some points at Saratoga Springs (120 pts)

Not sure why on that one, other than we just wanted more points so that we could vacation more, and share it with family and friends.

Now we are waiting to see what happens with the Contemporary Resort . . .

Is the Contemporary going DVC....I had heard that a long time ago....but no more. I might be interested in that.

What kind of gift card can you get? We booked thru DCL, have on board credit (thanks to Disneylover Lisa!) and planned on transfering to a travel agent that will give $300/credit (I think $300 - maybe $200). Anyway, curious what Costco does..

How did I help you get an onboard credit.....the only thing I could have done is recommend (which I would still do) trasferring to SueEllen at Dreams....I think they offer a $600 onboard credit for each room.

And this just came from my cousin about my uncle and his bride.

I went to the Post Office a bit ago and when I returned Dad was on the porch. Through many sobs and tears I learned that he has been told by the doctor that Irene is soon to pass. Probably in the next 3 to 4 days. She has a disease that kills the feet and hands.

Oh my. This uncle is my very favorite person other than Dennis and my children. I am closer to him than my parents. He was always my hero from the time I was a little girl. They were going to cruise with us year before last, but he had some heart troubles that kept them home.

Sorry for the downers tonight.

I will continue to pray for God to surround the family and keep them close to him.

Lisa, did you follow their meals on their calendar everyday or did you just pick a B, L and D that you felt like eating that day? I have not been following their calendar. I just grab a meal that I feel like having for each B, L & D meal....usually, if I eat B I skip L and vice versa. I find it hard to eat all three in one day....and I bought some of their snacks and eat those too. How did you do it? Did you follow it strictly the way they said what to eat when on their calendar?

Yes, 3 meals a day was a lot. I picked a lunch and dinner that I liked or felt like eating. I never ordered breakfast.

We live in Northern Cal, DL is a quick flight for us, 1 hour.

Our home in Bodega bay is a 1 1/2 hour drive from our house north on the coast.

And while I'm at it, tons of for everybody dealing with illnesses with family and friends right now. This group seems to have more than its share of hard times lately. Just remember....although it's hard to believe at the time, we're never given more than what we can handle.
