Hope everyone is having a good Friday.

aside from being late, so far so good!
The weather is gorgeous and hot outside, much too nice to be working, but it is what it is.

Just been looking at new bathrooms. Babysitting tonight. John is at the chiropractor. Now those could all have been on separate posts.

I would love a new bathroom!! and kitchen. We chose the pool though so probably another 5-10 years before we can do anything major. At least until both girls are in school and I have some what of a paycheck again.

they named Madeline McCann's mom a suspect in her disappearance today. I don't know if we will ever know what happened to her.

I have been reading up on the Disneyland Trip Reports....

How long are you staying for after the cruise?

I fear it will be so busy we will just be in crowds all the time.

I have just spent ages scrolling through past pages to find the post I wanted. There was a lady on our cruise who had brain tumours, and I have been thinking about her and didn't want her to be lost in all our postings, but I couldn't remember her username. Well I have found the post, the lady is Tina, tlb2864. I think we should still be praying for her. I so hope she is doing ok. She posted it on the 14th July.

I don't remember this, but I will send pixie dust and a prayer.

I know this is far off, but does anyone else have a cruise booked after this? Dummy dates for 09? John did you have something? and Kim? I am going to make sure I bring a deposit to rebook on board!!

Jackie and I will rebook on our Dec cruise and will be hoping for the Northern Europe (rumors) itinerary!

Palos pizza sure would be good right now!

John has started taking Fridays off work now, when convenient, so on this really beautiful day we have walked for almost 3 hours and had a lovely coffee sitting outside overlooking beautiful gardens. What a great morning.

We need to get in serious training for our WDW trip in November!!!

This place looks so charming, I would love to be able to have tea/coffee there - maybe on our visit to UK (hopefully soon!)

I'm so late this morning, can't seem to get up and moving, but good news - I'll be checking out a bunch of excursions in Cabo (YES I'M GOING!) this week. I'm leaving Sunday and will return on Wed. We have a horseback riding event planned to try that out - I wasn't really interested in bouncing around in an ATV, Jeep etc. My guts just don't hold up the same to that stuff anymore. But I will be asking the DCM about those for you who would be interested in that. We also have a sunset dinner thingy planned (I havent' seen itinerary yet) but I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to take my hand held recorder and take notes as we walk through the various hotels and points of interest.

I don't know why I'm flapping on... anyway, every body have a great day!

-----nice surprise in the mail yesterday....princess bottlecaps necklaces and bracelets! These girls are too spoiled. Truth is, I love this stuff but am too old to be wearing it so I make them!

sadly only two days, but I feel we can't miss it while we are there!

3 nights for us. Not sure we will go in the parks on the Sunday but who knosw, so that leaves Mon and Tues, with a possibility of Wed morning, which I presume might be a little quieter.

Didn't know we had a competition going though.....I'm just naturally chatty!

Very busy here. Tons of homework last night. Pounding migraine for a couple days. Can't wait for this cold front to move through so my head will get better.

Fundraisers: just bought something yesterday from a neighbor kid. Was surprised at how early it started.

January cruising: Just went on an Eastern this past January. Hot and beautiful weather! But not unbearable. Loved it!

Marilyn: Such a pretty place you had coffee!

Work for another hour, then school from 1-9 or 10 pm. Will catch up later during class.

This is the Betty's just a 10 minute walk away from our house. It is quite famous here, but also quite expensive. They have a pianist palying in the evenings!
